The time range is 5000 BC to 5000 AC. but jyotish ephemeris. i want to develop a new software. i need that ephemeris. how can i find it ? and where i can buy it ? please help me. sincerely.. Guest guest Posted July 3, 2008 Report Share Posted July 3, 2008 member u can get swis or american ephemeries books and cs too and ACS at las too for data on lat long in most western countires search net for it u can also get astronomical programs that calculate the positions of the planets and u need to add ayanmsa factor into it, then house divisions, amsa,s vargas, dassas etc.... Guest guest Posted July 4, 2008 Report Share Posted July 4, 2008 As Prashantji was saying you can use Swiss Ephemeris, it has a high precision planetary positional data for 3000BC to 3000AD but beyond that uses an analytical model to do the computation and can easily support your criteria. Also it has a built-in API that can fetch you planetary data from the catalogs. There is no separate ephemeris for jyotish, you can use any available for the same provided its accurate. BTW if you want to commercialize your software you need to buy the license for swiss ephemeris BUT otherwise it is free.
