As per channel, marriages should not be performed during the month of july till 11th. and so on in the month of Nov'08 on wards. Moreover they have advised to avoid this year for marriage. what is the fact about this, please clarify the matter. Guest guest Posted April 27, 2008 Report Share Posted April 27, 2008 Hare rama krishna dear anujbht ji The jyothish itsself is becoming a sort of entertainment and tabloid ( part of pulp journalism ) or pop stuff ,Lack of proper respect (respect shud include good dakhsina too ) to good jyothishis and lack of motivation ( without any motivation how and why any one shud take some thing as profession ,hobbyists are just ruining astrology by giving half baked prediction which they will hav to pay heavy price for it ) frm society now jyothish is falling to bad hands ,when society supports some good thing only the society can enjoy good things abt it .Now if some one calls u he is asking why cant u appear in TV or write in newpapers ,as they think that seeing in blving .( where as if u can spend lot of money they will script a beautiful programm for u and every thing they will arrange even callers to testimonials ) so i hav nothing to say here .one yr some section of astrologers ( jup in leo time ) declared bad for marriages all over hindustan ,when confrnted by south indian astrologers then they change the voice and said its applicable only to ppl of north .some yr nepali astrologers declare bad for marriage ( tho they also follow vedic astrology ) same time that yr lacs of marriage happened in hindustan . so according to sastras there is no purticular yr is bad for marriage unless there natural disaster or war devastating all society ,if so muhurtha which may be max 12 minits ( to get the strting time ) we could given for all yr ,which is very unscientific . The events can be considered is Bhookamba (earth quake ) ,big meteors falling ,the appearance of dhoom ketu (like hallis comet ) This r considered bad for marriage . in kerala one pundit calculated thunder happening for every day ( megha garjana ) and he done it for 1000 yrs and that is become obselete now and now no body could able to predict such a precision .As thunder ( not during rain ) happening in any muhurtha is bad .So previous yrs astrologers where avoiding such muhurthas . other wise guru sukra mutual drishti ,guru shuka vridha balavatha is special things one shud avoid marriage. some moths they say ( i think some months are imp as heavy rainy season or lack of agricultural activities or harvest season ppl dont hav money and even grains for a feast -still i am reserching abt it .) now many things changed and even climates changed . other wise the critirea shud be the charts of bride and groom so i cannot answer ur specific question abt the date and muhurtha on that day .( u consult some able pundit for it ) regrds sunil nair om shreem mahalaxmai namah . Ps .today i read one joker giv good muhurtha for all ppl in world (esp ppl of US) for strting sadhana ( how he can abuse astrology like this i dont know ) in various forums .( as muhurtha shud b calculated based on individual chart) and also dasa and other influences prevails too ..without a good dasa nothing is possible ,They make all jyothisha into kid stuff .
