My dear sister,

To write " " whoever will recite these, he will get such

and such things. " is essential to improve ECCHAA-

SHAKTI or to increase hope and belief. It is practical

as it was written in Ramcharitmanas---

" Swaarath kaaj kare sab priti, sur nar muni sabki yah riti " .

and Sakaam bhakti is also good but purpose must be pious.

At last there is no need to indulge in " IF and But " for us because

in kali-kaal we do not have surity of life span.At present i

am talking to you but after 10 minutes i may pass away.

So one should start chanting or worshipping some one

God or Godddess who he likes because " EK KE SAADHE

SAB SADHE " .

Once a old lady went to a saint and told " Guru ji i have

been succeeded to get the origional Bhagwat Gita bearing

1200 shalokaas while the the present Gita has only 700

Shalokaas. To listen her words, the saint asked her " Maai,

" How many time you spent for the said search " " A number

of years " old lady replied.Than the said saint replied in her

response " Mai what did you get to do this search,if you learn

one shaloka and do follow its TATWA in your life, you could

get Bhakti and Mukti. "

So my dear sister, one must do try to follow the same in his life.

Any way i am deeply satisfied to do such Satsang with you.

Jai ho,Prabhu ki kripa saidew bani rahe.

Dear Ratnaakar Ji,

The modern world says that it was Ichchhaa Shakti (for both Bheeshm

and Saavitree). As far as Pareekshit's case is, according to MBH, he

tried to save himself by shutting himself in a separate house, and

when Takshak came in the form of a worm, he surrendered to him.

According to Bhaagvat, he listened to Bhaagvat Kathaa for the next 7

days and left his body through Yog.

He himself was sorry for his action that is why he might not have

tried for the Mritunjaya Jaap. Well, otherwise also I have not heard

about anybody doing the Jaap of this Mantra. I don't know why. The

story of Maarkandeya comes in Puraan, but not about the Mantra. I

have heard about recitation od Vaidik Mantra but not this one.

In fact it seems, that in those times, those Mantra were only written

or composed, but not tested or repeated by others, for example many

Stotra were first recited in Puraan but there is no reference of

their repeatition; although it is written that " whoever will recite

these, he will get such and such things. "
