Ascendant is the english name and same is said as Lagna in terms of

Vedic Astrology. Accourding to Vedic Astrology, Ascendant is the point

of Zodiac which is rising in the eastern horizon when the native is

born. Thus, in your case when you were born the rising sign from the

eastern horizon was capricorn or Makara. In Vedic Astrology Lagna

represents the Tanu Bhav means your self. Mental inclinations are seen

from moon and soul is seen from sun.

hi, i suggest u to go to a good astrologer, If u've not a good knowledge, than

you will not be sure about the prediction. It can be wrong.

 

there are two types of planets mainly:

 

good planets : sun, moon, venus, jupiter, mercury

bad planets : saturn , rahu , ketu, mars :

 

 

they have friends in two ways

 

pair 1: sun, moon, mars, jupiters

pair 2: saturn, rahu, ketu, venus, mercury

 

The planets make the combinations wrong or interchange with each other pairs.

Than it make some critical positions. It is regardless, that one house has 4

or more planets.

 

sun, moon, jupiter are in 1 house is good.

sun, rahu, jupiter in one house is bad.

 

astro learning is simple. u should know 4 things. u can make prediction any :

 

1st - planets and their effects

2nd - 12 zodiac signs

3rd - 12 houses

4th - dasas or main perods.

 

 

1st thing is : dasa vichar if dasa is good, than good, else struggle or bad

Another foremost and important thing we have to see degree's of each

planet. If there are 2 planets in 1 house for example sun and Merc. we

have to see the degrees of mercury in order to see the combustion

and its effects to be seen accordingly.

 

For detailed analysis, for example w.r.t career we see at D-1 and D-10

and like wise.

Dear Tan Barkot

Once you wrote the following. I wish to lean at least the basics of

astrology, how can you teach me that? By personal E-mail or by

chatting. Because I have seen that only by reading books, without any

help of somebody (who can remove his doubts), one cannot learn it

properly.

 

I request you Sir, to give me basic knowledge of astrology so that at

I know you are very old lady, i can see that by my divine sight. I get Darshan

of Ma Tara daily. And am Bhagat of hers. What will you do by learning

astrology at this age ?

 

You should spend more time in household work and looking after children in

your house. And rest time must be spent in " Bhagavad Bhajan " . I can see by my

third eye that you are a spiritual lady. Spend time in meditation. What is

this astrology for you ? once you l;earn to meditate, then all answers you

will get in meditation.

 

And if you are still very much interested in learning from Barkot, then why

you dont write to him on personal id, instead of displaying affections here and

taking space of this Group.

 

There are many idiots learning astrology from books, and so can you, when can

they. At least you are a wise lady and can grasp the fundamentals easily within

few months. Read books for a start, because no one has time o give personal

training to you in this world, unless you pay them a good sum of money,
