Below is the birth details of a girl in consideration for my marriage : Date of Birth : 15th Oct. 1978 Time of Birth : 1:02 A.M Birth Place : Delhi Everything seems OK with 24 gunas matching. One Pandit ji in our local temple told me that in her chart Saturn is in enemy sign (also in navamsha) as lord of Eighth house. As Saturn represents old members in the family, the girl would shorten the life of her in laws. I am really confused whether to go ahead with the proposal or not. Kindly help me on this matter. If thats your first serious relationship then surely old members of family will be some kind of opposition as Shani sits in seventh from Upapada. Also Ketu in second from Upapada will give some kind of arguments within marriage, probably related to emotions / dharma / rules / conduct. For this to mitigate it is advisable to fast on every saturday and worship Bhuvanesvari. I would be happy to give You some advise. As Shukra is associated by two malefics (by yuti or drsti) this forms curse. To mitigate this results its very good to worship Trayambaka Jyotirlinga 5 malas daily with the mantra: Om Namah Shivaya Namah Trayambakaya.
