Guest guest
I shall be happy if someone could clarify the following points. 1.If we use use Chandrahari ayanamsa and 360 day savannah year. then in that case it should be easy to find out which is the correct ayanamsa from the following chart of my son. Male born on 12/07/1986 at 0139hrs(am) at chennai. According to Chandrahari ayanamsa he is running Moon-Rahu from 8/01/2007 till 9/7/08. Lahiri's ayanamsa he runs Moon-JUP from 14/05/2007 till 16/09/2008 During this period he qualified as an engineer (results in june 2007) and joined as a trainee on Oct 22 2007 and presently posted to Kolkatta. Therefore he has been away from home from Oct 20th 2007. Obviously only rahu or guru could have given him these events. This chart has 3 vakra grahas. What difference would it make if they were NOT vakra. 2.Similarly in my horoscope guru is vakra and exalted in the 5thH. And 5HL moon is in the 6th. Has it made a difference because guru is vakra. I am asking this because putrakaraka guru is not considered good in 5H. Or does this signify something else altogether. I assume the son will not stay with his parents in their old age. This is just for research and I am willing to answer with pleasure any questions that you may want to ask if it will help the cause of jyotish. The main question is does it make any palpable difference in the results if the grahas were direct or vakra and if so to what extent. DTP of birth 13/01/1955 at 1142am at ernakulam, Kerala. Thank you very much, Prad
Guest guest
Dear Prad, Thanks for your posting. Addressing point number 1, and a different ayanamsha/360 d savanamana year, I get the following beginning points: MO-Sa-ke 7 June 2007 MO-Sa-ve 11 July 2007 MO-Sa-su 14 Oct 2007 MO-SA-mo 11 Nov 2007 Moon is in nakshatra of venus both are placed in 5th SA is placed in own nakshatra in the 8th house. Moon and Venus though showing up in this scheme may seem to be irrelevant for education, but look at their lordships! Venus rules the 2nd house and moon the 4th, both houses associated with education and the fifth with intellect and mind and completion of education (being the 2nd from 4th and 4th from 2nd, both of these houses, associated with termination or completion of a phase! And truth be told, this phase is not really about moving out of house or finishing education but the most important thing to remember is that this period launches his career and brings earnings. The tenth and 11th house, in other words, which are both ruled by SATURN! Good tidings! Guest guest
I forgot to mention another trivial thing, or perhaps not trivial! The move to calcutta happened in MO-Sa-Su Why would sun make him move and go elsewhere? Sun is in jupiter's nakshatra and jupiter is placed in the 12th house (as you pointed out). In October Sun was transiting libra over ketu, in the 7th house, which deals with moves and relocations. Sun incidentally was in the 3rd from the dasha lord (moon) and in 12th from saturn, the bhukti lord! Coincidences? Perhaps!!
