Dear RRji,

I agree with the over all content of ur post but not the terse lines

the 2nd. 4th [not all r innocent posts] paras r the core and good ones in

this post. as many r seeking it as proxies for their clients and also post in

too many groups for same reason. and abuse good astrologers works.

and about competition or desperation by providers, I am not sure as I am there

in v few groups and for the past YEAR PLUS ON LESS MINUTES ON THE GROUPS and

from my end I admire any good work by members and have acknowledged, young or

old. I dont see a threat in anyone

I have answered cases in other groups adressed to other astrologers [not here

though] and noone has minded it as

DANE DANE PER KHANA WALAH KA NAAM LIKHA HAI works isn't it!

my motivation has been surely

to keep the subject alive for future generations who may want to learn the

subject some have come on chats or provate mails and exchanged ideas and some by

their posts

and i found a few good ones who did better by the day

GAURAV GHOSH, ASTRONIKIT, ANUP M, i HAVE complimented them for their good work

too last yr

so at least I don't see any alternate view presented here is a competitive one

in commercial sense but AS A PROBABLE alternate way to read a case.

As each one of us may come from a different background and what works we have

laid our foundation [ i mean classics and or modern astro works]

so a healthy exchange helps

I have admired ur posts, vatem krishnaji, r dakshinamurty's arjun ji's,mohan

ramjis Wendy's,Prafulla's. Ashutish, tatvam-asi's, posts as they have really

good background in their posts

though u and prafulla don't read charts other technical posts when they come r

good.

my motivation on karmic debt is also v strong, the paid readings r v few and I

don't mind them and have given as many free readings as time permits, may be

will be better placed after March mostly to come back as I did in my 1st yr

this is my 3rd yr in the groups

thanks for the post

and as far as roopak goes if u r lucky u may get more than one astrologer

member's views and benefit from it, and if u want to specifically address it to

anyone there must be no problem,

but in a group sure anyone should able to deal with it one or more. as long as

each one doesn't cross-comment on other astrologers writings.

forums r not yellow pages but a place to discuss, share the subject and in the

process help querents.

Dear Roopak Rastogi,

I am assuming that you are talking ONLY about this Jyotish_remedies

forum in your message quoted below?

Only the Owner and Moderator can lay down the definitive guidelines and

boundaries about what the rights and expectations are for the seekers

of readings.

I think, though, that when someone asks for a free reading, they

relinquish the rights to dictate the terms under which they will be

given the readings or answers to their queries!

They are beggars and not choosers, tersely stated!

You see, not all astro-queries are innocent and posted by genuine

seekers on internet. It is a reality and like it or not, real as

experienced by most jyotishis who post responses to such requests and

other jyotish-related questions, no matter how innocent and genuine-

sounding!

Jyotish has been strife with controversies and politics and attacks,

private and public and much turmoil since early nineties even by the

lofty and respected all over the globe!

The negativity and backbiting and frustrations were not new or

unprecedented but what brought them to the fore and to common knowledge

was internet and the transparency and transparent sharing that it

brought to the world!

But sad to note and tersely -- beggars still reamin beggars and not

choosers!

What elevates them really is the desperation of the providers who offer

them the alms, out of a sense of competition which makes those beggars

as well! Or something like that!

It is a misconception on internet that jyotishis that give free

readings are really doing that to drum up business or to fix or resolve

their karma or whatever!

The ONLY way anyone will know that really would be to embrace JYOTISH,

become a jyotishi and then look at their life and motives as to why

they serve Mother Jyotish!

Those who have realized that and know it have demonstrated amply and

oftentimes!
