Guest guest
Another " moving " song was by The Supremely Gifted Lata Mangeshkar ji, " Ai merey watan kay Logon Zara aankh mein bhar lo paani Jo Shaheed huay hain unki, Zara yaad karo Qurbani... Sung in very late 60s early 70s after the Chinese invasion, India's first wake up call from a " brother " ! It was very effective in those days and the then prime minister was stated to have shed tears publicly as he listened to Lata sing live... The younger folks should try and listen to it, if they have not so far. Namastey, & SHANTI and RESTRAINT, pleases! There are huge problems of many kinds in this world of ours that we live in, which will probably change our lives instantaneously, particularly if we get distracted and spend energies elsewhere...! Guest guest
Dear Friends, Living in our world we are able to find time and look back to those greattest lyricists and those who have thorwn out their voices and hearts to support and make those patriotic feelings .No doubtmute observers be it a polician weilding power with a position in indian heirarchy and layman unware of his future the next day felt and convinced of those efforts to project the nation and motherhood. Republic day and Independence day have become rituals in the greattest democracy of the world with fast changing economy and threatening innovations making the easier for some and difficult also as these innovations havee added positive and negative elements in simple and sublime lives. There is fear but a longing for peace from one and all but the very fact of life existing in awesomeness and unknown facts coming to the fore through the fifth column of the democracy. For me it looks there is some way wardness in all of us and ofcourse our penchant and liking to ravel the mysteries of planets and link with the events going around.too find difficult to have a line(lakshmana rekha and ventilate our passion through these reference. Here there is a little scope to bring in the rituals into focus that relate to the lives of nation that struggled for decades and last got their choicest freedom of expression, freedom to live and freedom to do what we want. we as a conggregation interested in our devoting precious time for the task of finding meaningful answers some plaguinging problems in human lives posed unhesitatingly with some expectations. No doubt we as unique being are not similar in our views ans ways of expressions. But then need also be given regarded for others sentiments and ventilations.let that be through not bringing our egos into the fore and the rights and wrongs observed need to be noted only as passing observations and remarks.I do not think this forum can be considered as an avenue to demonstrate our skills in writing nor bringing out the fathomless knowledge hidden in the precious relics.let's us be very very sincere and honest to the purpose and extend the benifit for mutual understanding and enlightenment more on the subject and with depth on the causes of concerns referred through this media and paltform. jainhind vrkrishnan Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan wrote: Another " moving " song was by The Supremely Gifted Lata Mangeshkar ji, " Ai merey watan kay Logon Zara aankh mein bhar lo paani Jo Shaheed huay hain unki, Zara yaad karo Qurbani... Guest guest
Dear Krishnan dada, Thanks for your wonderful voice and thoughts again, dearly missed for it seems years! I would just have to disagree with you on one tiny point! The day some decades ago when I came to the realization that " my time is not precious " , I mean when I really did: Kronos/Chronos smiled! Sometimes when we stop controlling and governing and managing and micro-managing or wanting to do all that to TIME (and our fates and destinies), something snaps in place. Let me leave it at that. Don't ask me what that is, since I did respond to you right away! My reasons may be different but others may not agree! Some things are best left to uncertainty and imagination! Even on an astrological (gnostic) forum! Warm regards as always ... Guest guest
Dear Rohini da, It is true for some time i had become too involved in building up an educational institution in a much delighted and scenic place around Trikuta Hills and at the feet of mata Viashno Devi. " True that TIME some time snaps for all what we want to do " Infact I wonder that is what we are also involved in fincing causes effects how some times snaps and yet other times we are fully conscious of kronos and chronos. This perspective looks to be beyond human and makes mystical too .This aspect must have also caused curiosity rather than anxiety to those saints and holy men and makes exploration through those chants and hymns in praise of one or other but presenting all issues of human life in a compendium which we may treat and rever it as vedas.Jyotish being accoede as Vedanga a prime place involves study of Nature in which planets seems to an eternal existence. The factor TIME is a great and complex issue as it tickles away non challantly and make us sometime to feel a remorse when a feelings crops up that we have let loose our energies in hollowness. Great and though as innate to you have expressed very concisely but revived my interest to turn to this platform and rekindle my interest in planetary issues ,free will and destiny. with regards krishnan Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan wrote: Dear Krishnan dada, Thanks for your wonderful voice and thoughts again, dearly missed for it seems years!
