End of an Era- fate or free will

It is nearly 5 years since Late SRI B V RAMAN passed away around this date,

sadder to know that his beacon of astrological light to this world The

astrological Magazine has died as well from immediate effect so no longer the

enlightening readings from current or past times, they had a great reservoir of

writers who shaped many generations of astrologers like me, I started reading

them in early 70's even during my early teens

 

B V RAMAN died without leaving a will of succession or assets so the sons esp

running the Vaastu desk there with many titles took over the control of the

family assets including the magazine, threw away their old and aging mother B

rajeswari devi fromtheir midst, who started living with Gayithri devi who was as

good or even greater than her father in her writings on the mundane subjects, so

now she too was thrown out of the family's magazine

 

the one who took over ran it for a few months with no material to back it up so

has wound it up and will refund all members of their subscriptions for issues

pending

 

I HOPE WE CAN ALL UNITE AND PLEAD FOR THE MAGAZINE TO RESUME UNDER HER

LEADERSHIP that see it die for good

 

else we must float a magazine of our own with her as head

 

I am sure ramanji has seen this tragic trend and just months before his death

made Justice kapoor head the ICAS, the astrological body to spread, teach the

subject, in fact the family feud now, the one who ran the magazine for a few

months wanted to be made president of ICAS, purely based on his father's name

that astrological prowess which Gayithri devi has and had refused the post when

Justice kappor himself wanted to give up due to personal commitments, setbacks 3

yrs ago

 

he is a worthy successor to raman ji at ICAS

 

lets see AM rise again

Let us talk constructive and not any detrimental comments

on what the family members of Shri BV Raman did or what

they should have done. We are nobody to judge why what

happened and due to whom ? They must be having their own

problems and just because we do not have any piece of the

cake they served, does not give us the right to talk in

any manner which defiles the family's reputation.

 

Those who are concerned much about the magazine,may take

a lead and talk to the family members about continuation

of the magazine. Regards Finanace part. I am willing

to contribute Rs.1000- per month till the Magazine manages

to achieve breakeven. Though I have not read this magazine

for last 10 Years does not matter, because whatever Astrology

I have learnt initially and still learning is in majority

due to the books written by the Great master, and we owe

this much to him at least.

 

I am sure the others contribution can make us form

a pool to take care of the Financial part,

Rest of the administrative matters can be discussed later.

Let us know who others are interested to regularly contribute

financially to the magazine instead of just talking. The

List would make us aware of the money we can recieve monthly

to cover the publication costs.

 

I request all not to talk bad or dirty about his family

or any negative remarks, instead, show their loyalty by

trying to help in continuation of the magazine in whatever

way they can.

 

What we require is concrete action and not empty words

showing Loyalty. I have seen the propogators of Lord

Rama who show their devotions to Rama on the Forums,

but when somebody writes detrimental about His mother,

they disappear, and are nowhere to be seen. And the

ones like me are left alone to carry the fight to the end.

 

We do not need Preaching but Action.
