Dear Gurujee

Please assist me with the question below as I am now confused?

I am a Hindi speaking lady born and brought up in South Africa. We do pray for

all the gods and keep pictures also. Recently I had a problem with my daughter

falling in love with a coloured man who is 10 years her senior and has two

children out of wed lock. So I phoned a lady who told me the followig;

1) I was told by a lady who get trance that I should not keep the photo of

Hanuman and Shiva in the house and pray for them as they are suppose to be kept

outside in a clean place and prayed? I also do have a prayer place outside the

house where we hoist a flag for hanuman and shiva and pray. She also stated

that I must pray to Agenie matha before praying for hanuman outside. Please

help me should I take out the photo of Hanuman and Shiva from my house where I

light the lutchmee every morning and afternoon and also not pray to them.

Your urgent response will be appreciated.

Dear Raneetha ji,

Your mail was quite confusing and I had

to read it 2-3 times to understand the actual

purport which is why at least I did not

reply it in the first case.

It is foolishness to accept a advise that

one should NOT pray to Hanumanji or Shiva.

You were advised to pray outside because the

outside is a clean place ? I dont understand

this. Why is the inside a bad place

or a dirty place ? Are you into any illegal

activities or banned activities inside ?

I presume you are not into any such

activity and must be knowing to

keep your house clean. So I find this

advice a little funny and illogical.

In fact one should not keep a Hanuman Photo in

his bedroom while conjugating, it

should be removed prior to it, if at all one wishes to

place a Hanuman Photo there. Otherwise there

is no such rule. Outside the House a photo

of Ganeshji and Hanumanji is advised just

to keep evil eye and influences away, does not

mean that one should sit on a asana outside the gate of

his house and do his daily pooja there.

Falling in love with a man senior by 10 years, are

the ills of Modern society and has nothing to do with one

praying inside or outside the house, and Love is quite natural

as long as it does not cross the specified boundaries.

Even school going children love their class

teachers, double their ages. But that Love of Your daughter

should not be nurtured as it is of course

apparently on the physical infatuation, and may lead

to dangerous repurcussions both on the mans

marriage Life, as well as the girl.

One should not meddle too much with people going into

trances as Mediums are not all right. If a evil soul takes

capture of the medium temporarily then all advise may be wrong.

And how could one judge as a commoner who is speaking through

the medium ? Instead common sense should prevail in matters

of religion and indulgement into talks with Mediums does not serve

any purpose uinless one wishes to communicate with a

passed soul of the family, for some Urgent matter, and

that too is hindering the deceased's progress on the astral spheres.

Praying to Anjani Mata before praying to Hanumanji is not

a bad idea. In fact of you take the place of Mother and treat

Hanumanji as a Son, you would be able to get His Grace at

the earliest, provided the ethical and moral considerations

in your way of Living are met, as per the set norms of society.

because Hanumanji loves and respects Mothers in form of

Sita, so become like Sita- A Mother and Mata figure and gain

His grace.

This query did not deserve a answer, as You were expected

to use Your own discretion, but all the same, You may

continue doing Pooja of any Gods or goddeses within the

walls of the house, it does not matter. Worship is not

for showing to people.

These are to be done in privacy-

1) Eating Food.

2) Mating.

3) Counting money.

4) Worship of God.

best wishes,

Bhaskar.

Dear Vikas Sharma

I dont believe in vodoo and such things. My question is simple. Can I keep

pictures of hanuman and lord shiva in the house and pray to them or must it be

kept outside.

Thanks

What are you trying to achieve.

And what is a a lady who get trance ? AM not able to understand this...

Are you into vodoo and black magic stuff... just wondering??

Re: Pictures of Lord Hanuman and Lord Shiva

Bhaskar.

We do pray for all the gods and keep pictures also. Recently I had a

problem with my daughter falling in love with a coloured man who is

10 years her senior and has two children out of wed lock. So I

phoned a lady who told me the followig;

>

> 1) I was told by a lady who get trance that I should not keep the

photo of Hanuman and Shiva in the house and pray for them as they are

suppose to be kept outside in a clean place and prayed? I also do

have a prayer place outside the house where we hoist a flag for

hanuman and shiva and pray. She also stated that I must pray to

Agenie matha before praying for hanuman outside. Please help me

should I take out the photo of Hanuman and Shiva from my house where

I light the lutchmee every morning and afternoon and also not pray to

them.
