Guest guest
//Shri// Jai Jagannatha ! Sri Sri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Peetham of Puri has appealed the masses not to use the fireworks and crackers. Lots of Crackers and Fireworks will be burnt for joy throughout the world in coming months. The occassion may be Diwali or Deepotsava or Ramzan Id or Marriage Ceremony or Game Victory Celebration or Christmas or New Year. The Hindu religion strictly prohibits one from burning Crackers as they cause pollution & eco-hazards,but still due to the culture brought by the invaders the crackers has entered the society. We here strive to put forth the scientific harms to the masses. Guest guest
dear friend while respecting the call given by his holiness shankaracharyaji of puri peetham, i beg to inform few things. in the primitive ages when humans were not civilized, we used to burn oil lamps to get light. thanks to a foreign english scientist who invented bulb and today electricity has changed the way we live. 100% of hindu temples across india including the ashrams of all holy godmen are electrified. litting an oil lamp has only become a formality and glaring bulbs giving light are installed inside the sanctum sanctorum of all holy temples across the country. in the last few years, air conditioners have been put up inside the sanctum sanctorum of most holiest temples in india to make the priests and the devotees cool. all governments across the world fire crackers on various official functions and celebrations. for example the indian government burns crackers in the most royal manner officially and formally after republic day and at the end of sports meets etc. be it marriages, parties or winning in a game or an election, all people celebrate their joy and share and let the world know their joy by burning fire crackers and litting the sky. hence i find no reason why hindu religion prohibits burning crackers during diwali. also could you kindly give me some reference of scriptures where hindu religion prohibited burning crackers? however, i personally recommend a ban on using the images of hindu gods and goddesses on the fire crackers that are burnt. for example, the most famous sivakasi fireworks make a bomb called lakshmi bomb on which an image of goddess lakshmi is there. when one lits the bomb, it explodes and the image of goddess lakshmi is torn into pieces and burnt. hence we shall recommend a ban on using images of god for burning and bombing. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun www.rudraksharemedy.com , " N.S.Parasuraman " <parasu41 wrote: > > //Shri// > Jai Jagannatha ! > > Sri Sri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Peetham of Puri has appealed the > masses not to use the fireworks and crackers. > > Lots of Crackers and Fireworks will be burnt for joy throughout the > world in coming months.
