Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Namaste All, Firstly, A Very Happy Vijayadasami to all of you. This day, in parts of India, traditionally, a Shishya showcases sample of what he learnt from his Guru during that year in front of a wider gathering. This is done as a mark of respect and gratitude to the Guru as well as self-evaluation. In accordance with that tradition, I chose this auspicious Vijaydasami day, to share some of my understanding of " Rectification of Birth Time using Ruling Planets (KP) " taught by my Guru Shri Swami Omkar Ji. Though the knowledge is certainly due to the grace and blessings of my Gurus and my Mother Mahalakshmi, and any mistakes are wholly due to my limitations. I am publishing this revised version which includes few rectification process diagram ( suggested by my Guru Ji ) and few corrections suggested by my fellow Jyotish Learners. So you can download the revised Ver 2.0 paper from the following link. http://www.Prashna-Astrology.com/Articles.html I sincerely hope that my fellow Jyotish students will benefit by this effort and as always continue their own research to refine and share as appropriate. I believe in the concept of Share & Learn and hence you are free to share this material with your friends and Jyotish enthusiasts. Guest guest
II Om Gurave Namah IIHari OMDear Raghunath ji, Nameste, Revision with flow chart has made teachings very lucid indeed.I eagerly await second part of The article for steps so far taught are giving time variation from 3 mts to 10 minutes . Not only in Steller but also in vedic such a range of rectification in minutes is of hardly any use unless sub -sub level is made avaiable. With best wishes on Dussera. Guest guest
Dear Raghunathji. Please clarify the following points related to your method of BTR which used star –sub connection only as relation. But what about 1) Role of Planet to Planet Aspect with in orb. (Vedic/Western) 2) Role of Rahu-Ketu : being in a sign, star, conj and aspect. 3) Plese check the example-3 :Page 16 : there is no Sat star in Asc. Merc Sign. Guest guest
Dear Mr. Nemani ji Your papers on RBT (both original and revised) are a valuable contribution in this field. Your presentation will be remembered by the astrological fraternity for its simplicity. In fact I am awaiting the second part of the paper eagerly. However after going through details of the method I observed following points for which clarifications from your end will be highly appreciated. Please note that this is not to criticize anybody, but may be of some help in refining and/or developing a reliable method. 1. This method is based on the use of ruling planets. These 5 ruling planets are as follows: a) Asc. Star Lord b) Asc. Sign Lord c) Moon Star Lord d) Moon Sign Lord e) Day Lord Our Guruji Late Prof. KSK has used these ruling planets very effectively to correct the birth time by finding correct sensitive point(s) of zodiac (i.e. Asc.) with the help of all these planets. But it is observed that this rectification method uses only Moon sign lord, star lord and the sub lord for correcting the Ascendant of the native. RP Asc. sign lord and star lord, which are the strongest ruling planets as per Prof. KSK, could also be effectively used. 2. It is experienced that if the basic KP rule " if sub lord of the ascendant in the natal chart is directly or indirectly connected to the star lord of the natal moon, the time of birth is assumed to be correct " is satisfied there is no need for the rectification. 3. There are six charts taken as examples for rectification. The time of birth given in these charts is not approximate. Therefore, in my opinion, the variation in the time of birth should not be more than +/- 10 minutes. But the corrected time in Ex. 3 is differing by about 2 hours while in Ex.4 it differs by about 1 hour and 10 mins. 4. To arrive at the correct birth time by this method, we are co-relating and correcting the longitude of the natal Asc. with the help RP Moon's longitude. As everybody knows, the movement of the Ascendant is about 24 times faster than the Moon. Will it be logical to correct the position of faster moving object (viz. ascendant) with the help of comparatively much slower moving object like RP moon? In my opinion it should be vice versa. That is, first check (and correct if necessary) the Natal Moon with RP Asc. and then the corresponding Natal Asc. could be checked with RP Moon by trial and error. Of course, this is my personal opinion. 5. To get more accuracy in calculations it will be advisable to work up to sub-sub level rather than confining to the sub level. Your comments are welcome.
