How to delinate retrogration in vedic astrology?

Other then Sun and moon all the five planets gets retrogration.R/K are

always retrograde.planets retrograde in different signs,different

houses,different dignity,and with different aspects and

conjunctions.the question is hw to delinate,hw result will vary,Is

there is the difference in the result in inner and outer

planet .please debate with examples and classical support,

I would love to debate and support with classic examples and all that

but don't really have the necessary time, Shrikant. So please accept

Incidentally, Rahu and Ketu are not *always* retrograde! If you are

using true positions and not mean positions of the nodes. I am

assuming that you are using true and not mean positions for the other

planets?

 

You also seem to to the view that planets in certain signs

or certain houses somehow seem to have 'fixed' and reproducible

effects. For instance, sun in sixth house and taurus rashi will

always give this or that effect, or moon in scorpio in ninth house ...

 

Have you actually seen this happen in many charts to believe that

this is true and the case? If that were true, then it should be very

easy to design a software that will essentially use the 'look-up

table' approach and all professional jyotishis will go out of

business, overnight!

 

The first software that tried to do that was written in the 70s and

80s but from the looks of it, there are more human jyotishis and

astrologers today than were back then. Apparently the hi-tech

astrology did not work out! In fact jyotishis would be truly thankful

if the software vendors could produce products that were consistent

and accurate even in the basic mathematical part of horoscope making,

leave alone the predictive part!
