I sld not interfere between Sunil and you.

But i want a minute of your attention.

What Sunil has written is not wrong.

If an astrologer gives a reading after spending his valuable time

say, an hour or so out of his busy schdule, and if he wrote that he charges

Rs500/,

for this, i dont think its unethical or bad at all.

Just try to understand this.

We ppl just pick a serious problem/mail in forum out of few ones,and try to

give reading

subject to availability of time.

Do you know, profession and hobby are two different things.

Sometimes, the querant are non-serious, dont even feel to write a word of

thanxs to respective astrologer for whom he spoiled his time out of his family

and

profession

I repeat, Sunil is right in his approach and i am not defending him as an

astrologer,

but for the time, experience for which he spent years to learn this astrology

and the motive to serve needy by all means.

I dnt want to hurt you also.

But plz be passive while you demand something for free.

Dear all,

 

There is no harm for an astrologer to demand Fees

when someone approaches him for Chart readings on

his private id.

I would go a step further that there is no harm in

demanding fees on the Forums too,if the enquiry is

too long.

I have already begun this. If I answer someone on

the Forum,and he thereafter asks further enquiries,

I straightaway ask the person to avail of My

professional services.

I entered the about a Year ago, and

since then have always campaigned for the cause of

astrology and the astrologer who spends his

time.,for whicch I have received many brickbats

too, from those trying to look good on the exterior

but who crave money from the inside.

When a astrologer spends his time , and does not

have many other sources of regular income, he

is fully justified in asking for Fees, otherwise

how can he run his family expenditures?

The time he spends on reading a chart, is not just

his time alone, but his family's time if he is a

grihasta.

If that one hour of the reading chart-time had been

spent on a railway station lifting luggage for the

travellers then also he could have earnt Rs.50-100

on his labour as a coolie. Then why not he get

his due on this labour of reading a chart ?

Therefore I ask all the astrologers on all Forums,

to shed away the " trying to look good attitude "

while their families are living in poverty, and do

free reading as well as Paid readings both.

It is high time that this awareness comes in soon,

or else all the astrologers would be taken for a

ride, by the never ending population of this world

who want to grab free Noodles .

Awaken . Be proud astrologers. be proud of the

knowledge you possess, dont waste your knowledge

on undeserving candidates.

Those who cannot afford, certainly help them and

the Urgent needy, but those looking for solutions

for silly problems, do not feel ashamed to ask your

due, please.You are depriving the family of the

money due to them from your labour and hard efforts,

if you try to look good. So stop trying to look good.

Do your duties properly towards them.

 

Those who still insist for free readings on silly

problems ask them to first take free services from

the schools where their children are admitted, from

their Chartered accountants,from the Doctors, from

the Surgeons and also from the Hospitals, who are

doing a better job in serving humanity, then what

the astrologers are doing.

 

This mail may bring in some criticism, but Bhaskar

does not, and has never cared for criticism,

I talk the truth as always, and wherever allowed.

 

One should be true to his conscience and his own

family, then only one can be true to the society and

world at large.

I agree with u, Astrologer must charge for his services.

many reasons

1. native who enjoys free reading does not value the reading most of

time and may not perform the remedies told by astrologer as it came

free/easily to him.

2. Karma Bond is formed between astrologer and native

3. Astrologer also have to support his family.

4. even in spirituality many Gurus charge money so that disciples pay

attention to their words e.g Gurdjieff and in " Reiki science of

healing " it is foremost principle to charge money.

 

but i want to add one more point from my understanding.

Astrologer sud not charge fixed amount of money from every one.

fee should be variable according to teh financial condition of the

native.

if bill gates comes 2 a astrologer then looking at the chart

astrologer can demand large sum of money but if a poor person comes

then astrologer can give free reading or if person is really in

financial trouble then some concession can be given.

 

here by, i pay my thanks to all learned Gurus of this forum who are

helping me in my study of astrology directly or indirectly

specially to P V R sir for making Jhora software.
