Member,

a well made point,

u have a few universities in India teaching Jyotish 1st was Osmania then AP

university, hear some 16 of them do have a Bacholers in it.

others that have made a strong impact have been ICAS, HOSE COURSES COMRISES A

GOOD BALANCE OF CLASSICAL AND MODERN WORKS is producing many good brains, apart

from bHARATIYA vIDYA bHAVAN'S COURSE

K N Rao;s group;s works is the best example one can give from such an effort

others are there too, anyone doing a 2 yr ICAS course can help themselves a lot

I keep telling members it is possible that each semister has different

components and when they do one they r good 2nd they r better, 3rd they are

strong in the subject and 4th they r many miles ahead of anyone of us here. on

the theoritical side and practical side as well.

and the real practical side comes whenthey apply it in day to day life cases.

they have a lot of group discussions every week, good topical seminars every 2-3

weeks and some special occassion seminars when a visiting astro comes to any

other city. the way they share their knowledge and help budding talent is what I

have tried to do over here too.

but not many contribute healthily in threads here and has led to acrimony so I

RESIST myself entering into threads, stick to chart readings I had mentioned in

last July itself one needs t o be on a similar plane and equipped to understand

them when there is an imbalance their is complexes that take the debates in

tangents than forward so for peace I stay away from them, though I read one or

two and deicode no I will not enter.

A GOOD POST MEMBER.

Best wishes

todays world there are academies for those few who's great passion

for swimming leads them to become the best swimmers they possibly

can. They learn the best techniques for butterfly, backstroke,

freestyle and breaststroke under the guidence of expert coaches

(teachers)...some even go on to swim at the Olympics! Of course, for

those who swim simply for their own enjoyment ('swimming simple')

there is really no need for a coach to teach them the finer

techniques of butterfly, backstroke, freestyle etc..

This analogy applies also to jyotish, don't you agree :-)
