Guest guest
Ashna I have covered this aspect too. spirituality is no escape route and if done in that context never works as the pain of escape haunts u and is a distraction for spiritual or any other from of life. but on the other hand i had explained that one can be in the SAMSARA or world and still be spiritual and if these r not born early it doesn't help either. and striking a balance is itself great spiritual path for this u need to read Adi shankara's life and the part where he did Para Kaya prevesha that is enter the body of another person - when in a contest of the spiritual plane he was asked to explain family or worldly based phases which he had no clue having taken sanyasa at 7 or so and his worldly life begins when his soul entered a Kiings body on death bead is a strange phase and in that period did experience a lot of the life of a normal man in the world and has well documented in his writings and Swami Vivekananda had extensively quoted Adi shankara in many speeches, works. so read them find ur path. but U need both pases in life esp as ur chart shows I said at least 2 marriage and this is also an experience part of ur karma to go thru and burn ur Karma deficits before getting to realise ur spiritual sides better and here too don't get into it as a defeated person but one having gained by the life lessons have taught you only defeated person who became a well know spiritual man is Swami Sukha Bodananada from Madanapalle, lives in Bangalore is a well known Spiritual Guru for INFOSYS, WIPRO, SATHYAM and many more corporates has simple message and path u can try his works too [he was a love failure driven one]. others have not made it may be lead life as recluses than sanysains he is different so find ur path after traveling the road in life here 2 quotes I can give from our vedenta HAPPINESS IS ALONG THE ROAD not at the end of the road expectations are not wrong what we expect may be wrong. Best wishes Ashna Singh <ashna_singh_2002 wrote: Hi, Thank you both for making such great points on the topic of spirituality....i feel both of you have made wonderful points...i agree that taking sanyas, when circumstances have failed you, is the wrong way to go....it is best when comes as a natural progression in life. It should not be pushed. Having said that, Prashantji, i fully agree with wot you have to say on this...as i sincerely believe it's never too early to become spiritual. The aim of life is to work out our karmas, and to know God. We can be an ordinary householder, and still be one with God...i truly believe that. Have you heard of the phrase, " hands in society, head in forest " ? This is Kalyug, but that doesn't mean that we have to go along with the bad of this yug. We can live in Golden Age infact, if we control our minds and live detached. We are wot our minds are...and thru spirituality, we can delve into our inner consciousness and be one with God. When you do that, u automatically are rid of the lower atrributes of being human. I come from a Christian mother(indian) and Kshtriya father...no one in my family is religious..non are vegetarian. But at the age of 6, i asked my dad to get Bhagavad Gita and other spiritual books for me to read. My father thought something was wrong with me....but i had this strong urge for all things religious...so Bhaskarji, we are born with this attribute. I cannot help myself in being the way that i am...and i am thinking abt renunciating since my teenage years...not becus my lover is gone. So every case is different. You can choose to be ordinary and be in the world....or you can choose to follow the path of God. And goin to the forest is not a necessity to follow the path of God. You can be married, have kids, work, so long as you keep ur focus on God and leave the fruits of ur actions to Him. It's as simple as that. My favorite quote is " be in the world, not of the world " . Explains everything. We are humans...we have desires, wants..etc. But when we run after our senses, we start living like animals....following our bodily desires...and pleasing the lower senses. Everything in balance is good. Spirituality teaches us to remain detached while doing our karmas. And i am happy to tell you that it is possible to do that in this Kaliyug. I know many that do. So, it is never to early to start on the path towards God..infact, the earlier the better. It is ok to remain married...procreate, and still have ur goal in mind(God). It is, however, a terrible thing to waste human birth in darkness. Hope this all is taken well. Take care Sick sense of humor? Visit TV's Comedy with an Edge to see what's on, when.
