I read your pdf on the sun I found it totally interesting and good for any

astrologer. this document really makes one think of the time period when

these slokas were derived and furthermore vehemently shows that modern

interpretation is necessary. I have sun in the 9th house via rasi thulya. I

am very much like it says in the sense that I have deep down a disregard for

my father. but the truth of the matter is that there is a disagreement on

matters in my life with him. some of them of course are due to my own

immaturity however some are very much due to karma and the document doesn't

really acknowledge that this fundamental difference with the father is just

part of the karmic play and that one can't do anything about it but one can

make the necessary adjustments if need be I have tried so hard to reconcile

my differences with my father however I have realized that by this birth we

are meant to be in disagreement. then only one thing that a person can

easily do is to make the necessary adjustments by the sake of this

knowledge. it is also true that one will always be thirsty with sun in the

9th but that is good if one is a professor or teacher. so maybe sun in the

9th is indicator of someone who will be in a profession where one must be

always thirsty and there are many good professions where such thirst is

needed. most importantly the sun is the most important indicator of

relationship with the father so it makes sense that if you don't have a good

relationship with the sun in your chart you can very much suffer as in life

the father is very important energy in all dealings in life. sun energy is

used all the time around other male members and fraternities. furthermore

women are always gauging your sun energy to determine you as a potential

mate. I mean sun energy for man is necessary for profession as well as who

will be the one in charge. everybody wants to be the one in charge and that

has to do in essence with social Darwinism. so there are many important

things to attribute to sun in the 9th house. I mean if you have bad

relationship with father then you will more than likely have bad

relationship with government and authority figures in general. so this will

curtail your luck compared to someone who has a better placed sun. so it

really makes sense that luck can be curtailed and everybody is

subconsciously hoping that they have more luck than the other because that

fundamentally is true when you have an equal talent pool of people.

Dear Raja,

 

What about Sun in 8th house for the below native...he is the same one about

which I had posted earlier about retrograde plantes.

23/Feb 1969, 16:02 hrs, Ludhiana Punjab India.

 

His Sun is in 8th house as Cancer native and he works for government...never

a disfavour from Government...some problems though and he has already

completed Rahu/Sun period as well...nothing untoward in this period and as

far as I know got excellent annual reviews from his superiors in this

period....any comments

this is my urging queation for past 20 yrs as hobby to many great astrologers

also to y

 

for millions of the earth only 12 houses and 9 planets including twins

 

without knoqwing bacjkground for the native if a hors. given can any one

identiyfive it is ambabni it isindiragandhi or nehru or jothi basu or rajani

kanth or kamala hasan etc

 

people discuss only they come to lime light if without background it is given

they atrribute all negative yogas for as ordinary person and if become vip they

give and quopte positive slokas yogas etc

 

even in twins life style is completwely different

 

how to identify most of vedic slokas of old days speak of yogas slokas etc etc

which in modern concent cell phone foreign tour job abroad net tv etc will it

suit or we shall suit same and how

 

mars boomikaraka now people live in 100th floor where is boomi

 

vasgthu sun light now people play ibn dark in flood light so it goes on

 

let make new frame for old photos to suit and identify vip and ordinary and

clarify why it failed and other is great

 

i know few people 3 plts exalted not able to earn even 100 rs per day

 

3 debuitated earneing so well etc

 

jupiter in kataka lagna making the man struggle like hell where is exaltatin dik

balam slokas etc etc could not find convincing answe from vedic

 

again pariharas many innocnts go to temple big crouwd of only poor they asuffer

Briefly: I find as you do many charts with exaltations where the planets don't

seem to bestow what we believe should be the best, but perhaps we are operating

from a different set of values to the ones operating in the golden era.

With regard to only positive interpretations of VIP charts:

It is stated in Parasara that an astrologer should not read the chart of a

person unless asked to do so, and with this in mind I think many people are

averse to revealing the negative side of what can be seen in a celebrity chart

when that person has not really given permission for the reading in the first

place. It would be unwholesome for astrologers to draw out such negatives when

publishing such readings in the general press.

Finally, in this age of Kali Yuga what we can see in a chart that raises the

status of a person is not how many exaltations a person has, which indicate

purely the ease of attainment of certain things in life, usually knowledge,

spiritual attainment and the basic life comforts necessary for existence, but a

huge amount of Raj Yogas, and in my experience of reading such charts a range of

parivartana.
