Guest guest
Hello! I have searched the entire web, but could not find a large, clear and appropriate statue or photograph of LORD SHANI. I am looking for it in order to make an iron statue of lord, to worship it on saturdays. I will highly appritiate if any one can help me in finding one picture, casting, statue or any thing proving a big support in this. Thanks. Guest guest
The 'GRAND DADDY' of all Jyotish software as it is often dubbed (to the consternation of some!) opens up with the deity of the day. On Saturday, the image of Shani is shown. If you have that software, you would be able to see that. Perhaps Geovision can help you in locating a file which can be printed etc. (not sure if you can copy it from the Parashara's Light opening splash screen but give it a try. That said, most 'idols' that I recall seeing during my childhood in India were black idols made out of stone or iron but most were faceless and just had a red ominous-looking line drawn where you would expect the forehead to be. Good luck with your quest! Please do let us know how it goes ... Guest guest
It is not my term but that is what reviewers have called it. You can go and protest in front of their lawns :-) What morning, what entanglement and what is wrong about 'elite'? It is a beautiful term, just like GRAND DADDY (a very popular expression in english when something is praiseworthy). Amicalement, RR , " cancerleo .. Guest guest
It is not essential to have a physical object for worship. If your belief is strong enough, worship with complete concentration (ekagrachit) without a physical object and see the results for yourself - they would by all means be same. There are yogic techniques of doing this. However, for worshipping Shani or any other diety be sure of using the astrologically correct mantra. Else the results may be different... Best wishes, ro_h_k <ro_h_k wrote: Hello! I have searched the entire web, but could not find a large, clear and appropriate statue or photograph of LORD SHANI.
