ALL THE THREE ARE EQUALLY IMPORTANT. AND ALL THE THREE TOGETHER MAKE A GREAT TEAM. MANTRAS-JYOTISH- MEDITATION. Even by holding only Mantras or meditation singularly, one may achieve ,what is left to be achieved. Jyotish is to provide guidance and change approach of Man. regards, Bhaskar. Dear Bhaskar: I would certainly agree. And meditation should be taught be qualified teachers on a personal level as well. However, what I was trying to speak about, which is a slightly delicate thing is that the effectiveness of meditation has not been so great in the most recent past. " Just look to the quality of life in India " , and you'll get an idea. My Guru used to say. India has long been prescribing techniques of concentration for mantra meditation and this is very difficult and very ineffective. The new emphasis on such techniques as the Transcendental meditation variety is rapidly changeing the world in terms of benefits of meditation. Now, millions of people are getting on to it, and much, much benefit is being experienced. Also, the practice itself is extrmely natural and even effortless which makes the possibility of anyone gaining the important benefits of meditation. Meditation has been there forever, both in such places as India and other places. There is even meditation in Japan with Zen masters and in China. Scientific research however, shows that the TM practioners gaining benefits of meditation in a few months what takes Zen practioners years to gain shows also the difference between TM and other techniques. If you're interested you can check out tm.org for more information. Personally, I've been practing Vedic meditation for over 37 years... I first started out doing a concentrative type of yoga meditation....and then moved on to the TM technique shortly after that... So, I would suggest talking about all the benefits and especially the role of meditation to literally strengthen and improve all the planets within our Astrology. Meditation has the great potential....of literally changeing our stars! I think such a positive discussion here in Jyotish remedies would be very important and of course...appropriate being the interest here in remedies! Guest guest
Dear Mark, I agree. Just like Ravi (The Sun) can reach where a Kavi (Poet) cannot. same way a Yogi(Meditator) can reach where a Bhogi (Materialstic) cannot. In India which is the original Land of meditators, has now mostly beggars left, sorry to say. (This may creat a Uproar now).In Most of the astrology Forums one would find 99.9% only indians looking for free advice.I just saw last night a Indian asking vociferously in a foreign Astrology site for advises from another astrologer of that same Forum from where he had already received advise, though he was rebuked by the moderator of that Forum quite politely yet this chap did not relent. And this guy has already complete his latest round of free advises received from almost all the Forums on vedic astrology including this one.Such Indians make me hang my head in shame. Meditation- I fully agree that the people from here have not taken much advantage though the people living outside India have taken much better advantage. In india the trend is that first the matter/object/thing/learning/Man/Women etc, should go first to foreign, be recognised there and when it comes back, then only it would be given better recognition here. This I am talking in general. A person who meditates properly and regularly and also lives a life regulated morally and scripturally, Astrology and mantras would take back seat, thats for sure. because the direct Communion would give all the instructions and knowledge needed. About TM, I am no authority to comment good or bad, if taught by a good Teacher. best wishes, Bhaskar. , markkincaid wrote: > > > > 5b. Re: > #1 Vedic & Jyotish Remedy: Is.....
