PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE ON MARCH 19 2007-

 

Eclipse Begins at 6.08.00 Hours.(IST)

 

Maximum of Eclipse at 8.02.00 Hours

 

Eclipse Ends at 9.55.00Hours

 

Total Duration - 3 Hours 47 Minutes

 

Partial Eclipse of The Sun will be visible in India. The beginning of

the Eclipse will be visible only from the Eastern and North Eastern

parts of India,while in the remaining parts of the country the Sun

rises after the eclipse begins. The middle and ending phases of the

eclipse will be visible throughout the country.

 

Area of Visibility - The eclipse will be visible in the region

covering most of Alaska,eastern and Central Asia except the central

parts of Japan and the western parts of Russia.

 

Local timings for Major cities - (Starting and Ending)

 

Delhi - 6.18am-8.01am

 

Mumbai - 6.11am-7.37am

 

Chennai - 6.09am - 7.44am

 

Calcutta - 6.11am - 8.02am
