I also appreciated what Professor Davidji mentioned on the SAMVA website of interpreting the charts first and then reading the analysis given ... it's a wonderful learning method I continue to use as I study my way through these great books. Thank you for bringing this subject to our attention and again many thanks to ji for his books and generosity of time in sharing his SA knowledge. Further, you cannot expect rare books, published 20, 30 or 40 years back, especially when they are not available in the market, at its original printed price. A few years back, I myself had purchased a Xerox copy of Nakshatra Chintamani for as much as Rs.800 (yes, it is not a typo, Eight hundred rupees flat!), from a Delhi vendor. Principles of Cuspal Interlinks by K Baskaran, originally princed at Rs.165 and published by Sagar Publications is out of print and not available inIndia. I wanted it and when found that it is available with a leading bookshop in the United States, I purchased it at the cost of Rs.2000. Further Lights on Nakshatra Chintamani, having 256 pages and priced at Rs.40 when it was published 29 years back, and a rare book now, One has to consider the return of investment made 29 years back. Rs.40 cannot be treated as MRP of the book today. The book @ 180 inclusive of packing and courier charges is a real bargain today. Mr. Raichur makes a typo mistake when he states Rs.18 instead of 180. Hope this should clear all doubts about princing. Good luck and all the best.
