this is a very wrong interpretatio of Rahu, rahu give us a profund lesson for life and if you don´t get it then is when you experience it us loos etc. Rahu and Sani are teachers. Rahu gives you the lesson of patience and surrender, this is the time when you learn things come on the right moment, and then you learn that you are not always the controller, is a good lesson for ego.

I am giving below about 'Rahu' and 'Ketu' for the knowldege of members:

 

Ragu

Some of my friends in a Forum approached me to give more details about Rahu and Ketu, in Hindu Vedic Astrology, as this is unique and holds a crucial part in 'Predictive Astrology'. I wish to bring these for their study and understanding.

The Nodes, called Rahu and Ketu in Hindu Vedic Astrology, are points of intersection between the path of the Moon and the apparent path of the Sun in the sky. They are not physical heavenly bodies, and their importance in 'predictive astrology' is well established. The detailed rules relating these Nodes are given below.There are some rules which are common for both the Nodes.

RAHU:

Rahu has a head without normal body. The body is of a serpent and face looks fearful. It is dark in complexion, tamasik and thievish in nature.

By nature, it is a malefic planet. Normally, when it is not under the influence of another planet, either in occupation, aspect or com-bust, it acts like Saturn.

It is friendly with Mercury, Venus and Saturn, neutral to Jupiter, and inimical to The Sun, the Moon and Mars. It is exalted in Taurus, owns Aquarius,(Brihat Parasara Hora Sastra, Ch 47, sl.34 to 36), while its Moolathrikona sign is Gemini.

Rahu is Karaka for Gambling, Social or Political movements, out castes, reptiles, snake-bite, widow and swelling of body.

Rahu represents, disease, cancer, insanity, unpleasant times, physique disturbances, possession or belief by desecrate supernatural beings, epidemics, alcoholism, consuming drugs resulting in sufferings, evil imaginations, hallucinations, dark complexion, habitually looking down while conversing, skin diseases, pain, hiccups, old age ailments etc.

Rahu's stone is 'Gomedaka', and owns the direction of south west. Rahu rules over wild tribes, foreigners, non-Hindus, riots, old and bad women, travels abroad, theft, general physical disorders, social unrests, diplomacy, exile, aviation, paternal grandfather, and maternal grandmother.

Heart trouble, mental confusion, injury and pain in the feet, and cause of ailment by reptile bites, are attributed to Rahu to influence in a birth chart.

A contention is prevalent in the Astrological readings that, since the Nodes are overcoming The Sun and The Moon, by obstructing their light (eclipses), they are said to be stronger than any other planet in a horoscope of a nativity.

Saturn is a malefic planet. Rahu is stronger than Saturn in exercising its power from the place of occupation in a natal birth chart. Therefore Rahu is the strongest malefic planet among all planets.

Whenever Rahu or Ketu has any connections by occupation, aspect or other established connections with another planet, it takes over the power of that planet and Rahu or Ketu magnifies the good and bad effect of that 'connected' planet.

When Rahu is 'connected' with The Moon, like other factors as Mercury, and/or fourth house, and/or its owner, Rahu influences criminal tendancy (acts not with in the law of the country or society or region) possession by unbelievable supernatural yet disrespected entities, physic, physiological disturbances, drug taking and those items which could injure the mind, neurological problems, alcoholism. Also badly placed Rahu and an adverse Moon in the natal horoscope will certainly influence these

conditions.

Rahu influencing the Sun by occupation in the same house,can cause indecisiveness, warped imagination, and wrong illusions about self. This also has the following effects: The Sun could not give satisfactory results in his Vimshotri Desa period, though positioned in a good house, if combined with Rahu in its adverse position. This could cause trouble with the Government and its personals, highly placed influential persons, differences could magnify with his father or elders of the family, While general

vitality of his of his health falls alarmingly low, and could have heart trouble. Success could elude him/her in all attempts. Children could enlarge their difficulties as in their birth charts.

Rahu with the Sun in the first, third, fifth or the twelfth house from Lagna in birth chart/Navamsa is considered to be good and favorable results will be read - save, Rahu is not adversely positioned. Rahu with the Sun in second house my lead the native to poverty - subject to certain other factors in the natal chart. While Rahu positioned with the Sun in the fourth house, indicates problems with his property and his children. He is likely to migrate elsewhere. This combination in the seventh house from

Lagna, leads to marital disharmony, discord or loss of weath/earning due to women/spouse.

This combination in the eighth house could shorten the longevity. The same combination in the ninth house gives higher knowledge, acclamation for achievements from all, and journeys to far off places, including abroad, Rahu with the Sun in the tenth house raises the native to a high position, in either of the Desas, but at the end of the period eventually making career failure. However, the combination of Rahu and the Sun in 11th house is good, and could not be said this will bring bad periods.

 

Rahu and The Sun combining in Aeries, Libra,Scorpio and Aquarius is bad, while this combination is good in Leo. However, when they are in Leo, the relationship of the native with his father will be bad or may not exist

It is necessary to remember the Star Zones belonging to Rahu in Hindu Vedic Astrology.

ARUDRA - Thiruvadirai - Orionis - (one star) House: Gemini 6Dg 40 Min to 20 Dg.

SWATHI - Swathi - Boothis Arcturus - (one star) House: Libra 6Dg 40 Min to 20 Dg.

SATABHISHA -Sathaya - Aquari - (one3 Hundred stars) House:Aquarius 6 Dg 40 min to 20 Dg.

I like to remind members that for judging any aspect of life the following factors must be carefully examined before a finding is reached in studying horoscope.

1. The concerned house - its strength and the sign in it;

2. The owner of the house-its strength, location, and the nature for the ascendant (Lagna);

3. The Karaka for the house- its location in house and sign, nature, and strength;

4. The planets associated with, aspecting or in any sort of 'relation' with the owner of the house;

5. The planets associated with, aspecting or in any sort of 'relation' with the karaka of the house;

6. The planets aspecting and/or occupying the house- their nature for the ascendant, their ownership of different houses and their strength.

Now I will move on to explain the combinations of other planets with Rahu.

Any 'relationship' between Rahu and the Moon is generally not good at all. Remember that Rahu could eclipse the Moon. The result of any such relationship between them will result for native to be under an apprehension of something likely to happen to him. He may be mentally depressed.

He may suffer from circulatory or digestive disease (influence of positioning in 8th house from Ascendant). He may have troubles from women.

We should be watchful to find this combination in the first or fourth house from Ascendant. The native may have mental abrasions. If this combination exists in fourth house from Ascendant, in his prime marital age, he may have serious health or mental problems - take note of Desa Buckti Anthera at this time of his life while reaching this conclusion.

This combination in the third house relates generally to early death of mother or sister's husband, subject to related studies in their individual horoscopes.

The Moon with Rahu in 8th house, indicates serious 'bala arishta'- ailments in childhood.

Rahu and Mars, its combinations and relationship under aspects:

Rahu aspects Seventh House from its deposited house.

Mars aspects Fourth, Seventh and Eighth places from its deposited house.

Mars owns, Aries and Scorpio, Exalted in Capricorn and Depleted in Cancer.

As said earlier, Rahu becomes all powerful when combined with any planet in any house. The 'relationship' said to be established if Rahu is in any of the houses related to Mars and also if Mars aspect Rahu in a horoscope. However, as said earlier, Taurus, Gemini and Aquarius are safe places to Rahu being deposited in these houses, where his effects are very low, though combined with other planet positioned with it. One has to balance before reaching findings under these rules. However, one should very

carefully read the effects in Rahu Desa Mars Bukthi or Mars Desa Rahu Bukti and other sub- periods of this combination in Desa of other planets, related to the house of occupation from the Ascendant

1. Rahu and Mars in general, brings out the violent tendencies in a person. The native could have uncontrollable anger to result dangerous acts and lead a life of isolation. This could also be a cause for suicidal decisions. When this combination is favorable as listed above, it could only result in the form of anger. Otherwise, normal tendencies will prevail with him. the native may have a heightened psychic drive, especially that associated with sexual desire.

2. This combination in third house, is an indication that the native is either the eldest brother or the eldest has not survived.

3. Such a combination in the fourth house from Ascendant indicates losses in many occasions during his life time, unless Mars is a beneficial planet and/or Rahu is well placed.

4. The native will not have a male issue, with this combination in the fifth house. In case, a male is born to him, by virtue of spouse horoscope, he may lose that child early.

5. This combination in the seventh house would indicate that the native had premarital affairs and/or has more than one wife. (A clear indicator while matching horoscopes)

6. Such a combination spoils health, when in eighth house.

7. This combination in second, tenth, or the eleventh house can lead a amassing of wealth through questionable means.

Page 3. Rahu Cond.

 

Next, we will be discussing here the combination of RAHU and MERCURY.

You will note, in most of horoscopes, Mercury will be in the same house where the Sun is deposited, since Mercury has almost the movement of the Sun in relation to the movement of Earth. In some, you will find that Mercury is in either in the previous house or in the next house to the house in which the Sun is deposited. All the more, it cautions the Astrologer that when this Mercury will be with the Sun, and the combination should find the presence and benefits of the Sun with Mercury. It is said, that the distance between The Sun and Mercury in any house to be more than 8 Dg, the influence of Mercury is less on the influence of the Sun, in that house of occupation of both.

I already said that Rahu has a good relationship with Mercury (friendly). Obviously this combination is considered to be good.

I also discussed the relationship of the Sun with Rahu earlier. This should be remembered while assessing the power of Mercury with Rahu.

Generally, Rahu with Mercury gives the native to be a sharp intellect and good power to communicate, when both the planets are favorable. However, he may also have itch to gamble and speculate. In the Fourth house, Rahu with Mercury, gives to the native, gains, honor, high position, and wealth. In Pisces, as you know, Mercury is depleted, and with Rahu both gives the opposite of what is said earlier. In the Fifth house, this combination, is not good and will give e the native disturbed mental health, causing anxieties. Mercury with Rahu in Sixth, Eighth, or the Twelfth house from Ascendant, is said to cause undiagnosable disease, insanity or nervous disorder. Disturbed married life will result, if this combination is in Seventh House.

RAHU and JUPITER

I will take the combination of RAHU with JUPITER.

I will recollect that Jupiter is a very powerful planet to give the best to natal and also a moderator to lead a good life. Jupiter has good relationship with Mercury and their combination is usually gives good results. However, Pisces is owned by Jupiter while, if positioned, Mercury is depleted in Pisces.

Rahu has similar 'drushti' as Jupiter, as Rahu aspects 5th,7th and 9th houses from its house of occupation in a horoscope.

The native, with this combination, may be very learned, wise and wealthy. They could have exceptional legal ability.

While this combination of Rahu and Jupiter is found in the Fourth, Fifth, and in Ninth house from Ascendant, it takes the native to occupy a very high position in life, and makes him also wealthy.

This combination in Fifth house could cause the wife to have several miscarriage of pregnancy or death of children.

With Rahu and Jupiter in Eighth house in a Birth Chart is certain to give the native in his early life stomach trouble a mark near the naval of the native.

Also it is found that this combination in any house in a horoscope of a natal, unless well aspected or both the planets occupy favorable positions in the chart with mutual aspect, could cause a distaste for religion, trait or faith to which the natal belong.

RAHU and VENUS:

This combination is considered as an adverse influence on Venus, unless Rahu is good for the chart. This combination could distort the attitude of the native to healthy sex, relationship with women and unhealthy marriage. In the Fourth House this combination gives properties, wealth, harmony, comforts and cordial relations with relatives. In the Third, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth and Twelfth houses this combination is considered to be bad to very bad.

The aspect or relation of a Node (Rahu or Ketu) with various planets are to be analyzed in the following ways:

1. The fundamental character of Rahu is to give the results similar to Saturn, and that of Ketu is like Mars.

2. The Luminaries has (The Sun and The Moon) special affinity with the Nodes. If there is an eclipse owing to the association of the Node with a luminary, the result in the period of Desa or sub periods will be different. An eclipse in a good house is harmful for affairs of that house and is good in an adverse house.

3. If there is any connected relations between Node and a Planet is prevalent in a birth chart, the Node in turn will take over the effects of the Planet. Say, a mutual aspect between a beneficial Jupiter and Rahu will make Jupiter lose some of its good nature, and Rahu will become beneficial. Please note that Jupiter Desa of 16 years follows Rahu Desa of 18 years.That is, Rahu Desa would have been better than the subsequent Jupiter Desa.

4. Whenever a planet or house is under the influence of a Node, the affairs indicated by that planet or house will always result in suddenness of events.

5. If the Node is in exaltation or influenced under above rules by a favorable Planet to the Ascendant, it will give good results in its period.

Now we will move on to RAHU and SATURN COMBINATION:

1. It is not a good combination for overall good health of the person.

2. If this combination is in the Ascendant in a Birth chart, it will indicate that the person's mother had a difficult child birth. The native will also suffer from very poor health in childhood. he is prone to many wounds are accidents in early life.

3.This combination in an adverse house from Ascendant would sometime drive one to the tendency of suicide as also to a criminal bent of mind.

4.If this combination is in the Fourth House of a birth chart, it would prove very troublesome all his life.It is bad to his mother as also could bring to the native a mental imbalance.

5. It is bad placed in the Ninth house, to bring displeasure in workplace, government, parents, guru and people in environment, and could be forced to migrate else ware under pressure.

6. If it is in tenth place, in a chart, from Ascendant, this combination is said to be the best for any native to reach high positions in life. Also, if these planets are termed favorable in tenth house, the indication is a certain fall from high places of repute. (mostly seen the horoscopes of politicians.)

We will next get to the rules of RAHU with MARS AND SATURN:

If this combination is found in Ascendant (1st House) - or in any house that may be - causes urinary diseases, in its earliest combination of influence in Vimshothri Desa.

If in Eighth house from Ascendant, this gives raise to the immorality of natal

Anywhere in the horoscope, it destroys the results of that house, as also make the natal prone to many accidents.

If there is an exchange of Star Zones between Rahu and Saturn (that is if Rahu is in Saturn Star zone -Pushyami; Anuradha; Uttrabadhra - and Saturn in Rahu star zone - Arudhra; Swathi; Satabhisha) and one of these is in Eighth house from Ascendant this could give the native paralytic attacks in the related period or periods.

It is said that Rahu gives better results when in aspect by planet friendly to it rather than in association with it.

Whenever a Node is in the third,sixth, and eleventh house, and does not own a favorable relation to that house, it turn to be an adverse planet for the natal.

Whenever a Node is in the sign or constellation of the owner of the sixth house from Ascendant, or eighth house, or is having influence with or by the owner of any of these houses, it will adverse for the progress of the natal, particularly the related planet is an adverse planet in the chart.

In five conditions Rahu o Ketu will do extreme good to the native:

1. If the node is placed in an angle from Ascendant and has related connections with the owner of a triangle , or

2. It is placed in a triangle and has connections with the owner of an angle, or

3. If a Node is placed in an angle in the ignowned by the excellent or good planet in the chart,or

4. It is placed in a triangle in the sign owned by the owner of an angle, or

5. it is placed in the Eighth house from the Ascendant, in its own sign, it is capable of doing extreme good to the native, during its Desa periods and or during the sub periods of other major planets.

A Node gains the nature of the depositor, while stands neutral, with no other influence from any other planet.

Mixed results will be in effect when the Node is placed in Second or Twelfth house.

RAHU IMPORTANT FOR GIVING WORLDLY RESULTS, WHILE KETU FOR SPIRITUAL OR RELIGIOUS ONES.

Rahu or Ketu will always give ill-effect during their desas if either of them in the Star Zones of Ketu - Aswini; Makha; Moola,

whil, it will be giving opposite results, if either of these in the Star Zones of Rahu - Arudhra; Swathi; Satabhisha.13:32:13

KALASARPAYOGA:

This yoga is said to form in following conditions:

1. If Rahu is in the first six houses from the Ascendant;

2. All the planets are between Rahu and Ketu (this has to be ascertained when no planet is beyond the axis formed by Rahu and Ketu, though a planet may be housed in the same house in which the Node is posited)

3. Some others say, that no planets should be located in the same sign of Rahu ( They did not say about Ketu being located with another planet).

This yoga destroys the good indications in a horoscope. The house where Rahu is located suffers the most.

The First six months of Rahu major period after the close of Mars major period are as a rule is a period of major adversity.

The owners of the houses in which the Nodes are deposited, are of particular importance. If any of them is under good influence, does not own a bad House and is a beneficial planet for the Ascendant, the depositor becomes capable of giving good results. If, in combination with other planet/s, forms favorable yogas, the strength of yoga increases many folds to give good results. Such a planet, under adverse influence,deposited with Rahu, or that planet is of adverse nature, is capable of harming the native to great extent.

Rahu could also give, connected to planets forming a Raja Yoga,, the Raja yoga results will be given by Rahu.

While we are listing the effects of Rahu to have "Kalasarpayoga", this yoga has great effects at the time of finding an answer ' when will one get married?' - Marriage, in a girl's horoscope, will indicate delay positively. However, she will marry when favorable Planets to Rahu operate as part of Desa, Bukthi, Andhara combinations.

If the owner of an angle and a triangular house are inter- related, and this owner is deposited with Rahu in a house, the native will have high status and prosperity during the major or sub periods of Rahu. (This needs explanation to understand the combination to form the said result. Exp: The angle houses from Leo - as Ascendant - are Scorpio,Aquarius and Taurus. The triangle houses from Leo are Sagittarius, and Aeries. Aeries is ruled by Mars; and, Scorpio is ruled by Mars in respective categories. In the event of Rahu is deposited with Mars in any house with Leo as Ascendant in a birth chart, the said result will be experienced by the natal)

I will try to enlist below some highlights of effects from Rahu in various houses. (However, these are subject to the basic rules of influence of various Planets and the related houses to the Ascendant)

First (The House of Ascendant) : (Any house in the Birth Chart):

The health of the native will be ever poor. He will have health problems in the upper part of the body. His/her marriage could be unhappy. He is likely to have unusual behavior.

A powerful Rahu will elevate him to high status and make him wealthy. As explained earlier, Rahu associated in the first house with a powerful planet, (owner of the angle and a triangle house), will give him Raja Yoga with quality of life of his/her desire. Rahu in the first three houses, Aries, Taurus and Gemini gives the natal good health. Rahu is a beneficial planet when placed in Aquarius or Pisces, in Ascendant. When Rahu in Leo, the person will be wealthy and prosperous. If the Fifth or Ninth house has a sign inimical to Rahu, the native may have problems in having children or their longevity. He/she could face hindrances in career in her life time. The children may not be close to family. They could be irreligious. They could do well in gambling and speculation. He will succeed in litigation. Rahu, if connected in relation of position etc., with

a powerful Maraka in the chart could destroy his wealth and cause his sudden death.

Second

The person may be very deficient in his expressions. He may tell lies and/or mislead others. He will face opposition. He is certain to lose the good relations with his family, and become unpopular as also soft. He could have permanent troubles in face and mouth, needing medical attention. They are likely to have constant defects in eye sight and related illness, if the Moon or the Sun is also involved in malefic planets. When the owner of the first, fifth or ninth are connected with Rahu and be in any favorable house for Ascendant, the native becomes prosperous. While Rahu has relationship by together occupies in any house with the owner of third, sixth, eighth or the eleventh house will reduce the longevity and may cause death during its major or sub-periods. However, a favorable Rahu placed in the second house with the owner of eleventh will be

capable of making the native get wealth suddenly. Rahu will not help savings, if related to Saturn, if Saturn is the owner of sixth or eighth house, or planets in those houses.These indicates troubles with banks and financiers.If Rahu is strongly connected to the eighth house in any manner, the native will gin legacy. though he might have been raised to a high status with such combination , his conduct my not be good.

Third

The native will be bold and efficient. Rahu in this house connected to to a beneficial planet removes all adverse indications in that horoscope. He lives long. If Rahu is afflicted in this house, it destroys brothers and causes disease in the neck or in the throat.An adverse Rahu could cause marital problems as well. He/ She usually keeps good health. The native could become a leader among men or highly prosperous than the rest in the family. Also, could cause difficult relationship with younger brothers or sisters in the family. he will be strong willed. He could invite criticisms for his opinions. He may travel a lot. If Saturn influences Rahu, while Rahu is in this house, most of his journeys will be by air. Rahu here associated with powerful owner of an angle and a triangular house will form RAJAYOGA. Rahu influenced by powerful maraka owner of the

second or seventh house here will destroy wealth of the native and may cause his death. The native' children will be long lived and prosperous.

 

Fourth House

When Rahu is in the fourth house in the birth chart, it will make a native, philosophic and extremely orthodox. His relationship with his mother will be strained and he will keep many happenings close to his heart, while mother will be very unhappy about him. Fourth house Rahu, will however give vehicles prosperity and make one self centred.

Rahu with Mars in this house will give the native violent temperament and liable to be incarcerated in his life. This could happen during ‘gochara’ readings related to birth chart when Rahu is alone in transit in the fourth house birth chart Ascendant, while the Desa would also contribute.

Rahu is deemed to be a most beneficial planet, in fourth house of birth chart, if that house to be Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Aquarius or Pisces.

A badly placed Rahu will adversely effect the education of the native. Rahu in any form related to or with maraka, owner of second or seventh house will destroy wealth of the native, and could cause death of the native suddenly in related Desa, Anthara and Sukshama. If the fourth house, its owner and the Moon or Mercury are influenced by Rahu, the native may suffer from nervous disorders or some kind of fobia. In the major and sub-periods of the adverse owner of the second, sixth, seventh, eighth, eighth or twelfth house in a birth chart, a badly placed Rahu, may cause disease of severe nature causing ill health and anxiety. His/her children may be extravagant, squander family wealth and live far away from the place where the natal would be living.

Fifth House

Primarily, an exalted or debilitated Rahu in this house, will certainly cause trouble through children. The native will have problems in love affair (irrespective of age or period). He will suffer stomach troubles. If Leo and the Sun in the birth chart is afflicted, the native could suffer from heart trouble. If the owner of the eighth house is also involved in that combination, he could succumb to that. If only the twelfth house lord is also involved, then he will have long and frequent hospitalisation, according the related Desa etc. He could have some defect in speech and or expression. He will be keen to speculate, gamble, horse racing and other types like lotteries. If the Moon combines with Rahu in the fifth house, he will have quick bad temper (which could cause troubles all his life) and be very unpopular with his children and also face

difficulties through them. Such a Rahu connected with the lord of seventh house in the birth chart, will indicate difficult love affair. If that Rahu in fifth house connected with the owner of twelfth house, in thebirth chart, shows the native has tendency to sexual promiscuity (to be noted at the time of matching horoscopes for marriage) to cause severe problems while the person will feel lonely, discarded by friends. He will not be interested in finer things in life.

Sixth House

High status, excellent and built up health, wealth and power to score one over the opponent will be the prominent feature for one having Rahu in the sixth house of his birth chart. If Rahu is positioned and relative Desa period to contribute to favourable Rahu, the native will perform well in his career with dedication, fervour, and will progress with wealth. Inversely, if Rahu is in an adverse sign, or weak or under adverse influence, the native (he or she) will have a scandalous personal life.

Anyone would misunderstand him easily.

Rahu in sixth house is badly placed as general rule in nature. If it is badly placed or is under adverse influence, it can prove to be very troublesome in the sub-periods or major-periods. A highly potent cause for decease is pointed out, when Rahu in Scorpio or Capricorn and that being sixth house, or associated with or in aspect from adverse Saturn in that part of the body of the natal. (Similarly, if the owner of the sixth house occupies any house with Rahu, or being in aspect by that planet, the native will fall sick during the major or sub periods of Rahu needing hospitalisation and sever medical attention).

The father of the person having Rahu in sixth house could be rich, highly placed and powerful, but his conduct and personal life could be bad to bring ill-repute to the natal.

Seventh House

This house is not a good place for Rahu at all. The native will not have peace of mind all his life for one trouble or other. A Node malefic in nature and under adverse influence here reduces the marital happiness and makes the native or spouse to involve in unhealthy relationships causing various problems. The woman could suffer from disease in her genetic system. In some case, separation from spouse could be indicated.

A Rahu in this house, influenced by Saturn or Mercury is likely to turn a man (watch this while matching horoscopes for marriage) impotent as well as not combatible for the partner in emotions.

Rahu here associated with the owner of the sixth, eighth or the twelfth house will effect the longevity of the natal in appropriate Desa period. Rahu associated with or in aspect with the owner of fifth and ninth house will make the natal live long life with plenty and prosperity.

Rahu associated with or in aspect by a powerful owner of second or seventh in this house, will destroy, wealth, health and peace.

An adverse Rahu in seventh house will make him poor, irrespective or the family the person belongs, and would live earning in immoral means. In any case, he/she will become a sourse of worry to the family.

Eighth House

House is, again, not a favourable house to Rahu to be positioned in a Natal chart. However, when Rahu is lodged in a favourable (eighth) house, it will give good results in his sub period, in the major period of Main-planet Desa. Its association with a planet is also beneficial. If favourable, Rahu will help the native to discharge debts, and could acquire movable properties. If Rahu desa comes to the native at age 42 and over, Rahu will make him wealthy. If the owner of eighth house in a birth chart occupies the eighth house and associated with Rahu, or the eighth house puts Rahu in aspect, the person will fall sick to cause anxiety. Generally, when Rahu is housed in the eighth house in a birth chart, makes native to face difficulties from his children, to his family and his health.

 

Ninth house:

 

A favourable Rahu in this house makes the natal rich and prosperous. If the depositor of Rahu is powerfully placed in an angle, there shall be sudden gain of wealth for the native. The native may travel long distances and serve and travel abroad.

Rahu in the ninth house in association or aspect with the owner of the second or seventh house will cause death of the native in its major or sub-periods if the life span has come to end. In some circumstances under combinations the native may give up the religion and go else ware. His conduct may not be good. IT may not be good to children either. The spouse could be efficient, self reliant, difficult in adjustments and nagging. His mother could have a good time during the major time of Rahu or in its sub-period.

 

Tenth house:

 

The native could have a very successful career, while his integrity would be questioned. The second part of life will be prosperous. He will be ruthless, popular among his crowd and become a leader. The 42 year is important for the native. He will travel widely. He may have few or no children. If Rahu is badly placed, he may commit irregular and bad deeds. His children will have a prosperous life. The spouse would be irritable and mentally troubled, while dominating.

Rahu is a major beneficial planet placed in the eighth house in the natal chart, if that house is Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Aquarius or Pisces. Rahu here associated with the powerful owner of an angle and a triangular house or in aspect by the owner will form

Rajayoga.

Eleventh house:

Rahu in eleventh will bring one to be worried all the time on the progress of their children. But, brings in more friends. The native will be financially sound, bold and powerful. If the owner of the house where Rahu lodged and that house is eleventh to Ascendant, and Rahu is in position in an angle or in triangle to Ascendant, the native will gain sudden wealth. Similarly, Rahu in eleventh house with the owner of eleventh house, the native is sure to gain a sudden wealth from most unexpected source. Rahu, here in aspect by the owneer of eleventh, will bring him Rajayoga. Rahu in this house in aspect from a beneficial planet removes all other adverse indications in the horoscope. He may travel considerabley and live abroad. He may have number of persons accompanying him during such travels.

Rahu placed in eleventh house is generally said not fvourable and bad in nature. If it is badly placed or under adverse influence, it can prove to be very troublesome in its sub-period in the major period of bad planer. Even in the major period of a planet positioned favourably, if Rahu does not have good relations with that planet by position or connections, Rahu su-period during that planet's major period could bring endless trouble.

 

Twelfth house:

Rahu positioned in the twelfth house from Ascendant, will usually bring in heavy expences and drain in savings, depending the nature of Rahu. If the owner of the house occupied by Rahu, or the owner of that house aspect Rahu the native is sure fall sick during the major period or sub-period of Rahu. The native could live abroad and be helpful in nature. If the Sun or the Moon is afflicted or connected with this house in any manner, the native will have trouble with his eyes. The Native may have surreptitious relations with undesirable secret societies and may spend on them, as well as gambling. This could also lead the native to look for sex outside the socially permissable parameters. The native could have restless troubled mind on account of financial status. While it is so, the spouse of this person will have a quiet and secule

life.
