Mars would be lord of the 9th house and would support electrical engineering. Mercury would be the lord of the 2nd house of masters level education and would show finance and business. Though this would give Kumbha Lagna in D9 - what do you think? Is your spouse favoured by your family? Or can she be a bit aggresive.2) In Dasamsa Lagna Lord and 10th lord are Jupiter placed in the 2nd house. Jupiter shows banking and the 2nd house deals with finances, in particular - stored money. The only things I can tell you about it are - 1) I am an absolutely straightforward guy (even my wife agrees with that). Always call a spade a spade and usually avoid harsh language. 2) Wife is favoured by family and she is not aggressive. What are your views about it now?? I also want to know what career options I need to choose. I seem to have two options - 1) work in finance 2) Do IT work in finance area as a consultant / business analyst etc. Which of them or any other option would be better for me?? Can you also suggest the appropriate Gouri pooja? The choices I am facing right now are basically whether to look for work in area of finance (money/asset management or banking) or IT services in finance sector. While they both relate to finance, the jobs would be totally different and there may not be any turning back once the choice is made. Regarding the prayers you told me, I used to do Vishnu Sahasranamam everyday. However in recent times, I have found my concentration lapsing. Is there any reason for this? I will try to learn Aditya Hrudayam. Lord of Tula is conjoined 7th lord which favours self-employment. This is in the 12th house so should be better for you as you are now living abroad. 3rd lord Venus is there showing contractual arrangements, and 2nd lord Mars shows the finance industry. I would recommend doing consultancy (Venus) and out-sourcing yourself rather then working for someone else.
