Guest guest
Dear Friends, Distressing and Sad Its really distressing and sad, that after requesting 5800 members of this Group, nobody had the time and inclinations to make an article on Holi and post it for the benefit of the silent non-active members. Why should we have this article ? Keeping in Line with the culture of the Group, we have requested for this article, just so that we know the real meaning of Holi, how it originated and why it is celebrated ? Is anybody paying us money, to upload this article ? No. Not at all. This is being done for the benefit of the members and their families, and we expect the members to read this aloud and explain it in their mother tongue to their family members, so that they know the meaning of Holi and why it is played. We do not just want this article here, because somebody is paying us money here. What happens if you dont read it ? Nothing will happen. Nobody knows and nobody cares. But its You who will loose the benefit of the right time and the right occasion of inculcating some values in Your spouse and children, if you dont read and enjoy this. What happens if You read it ? If You read it and explain to your family members what You have read, then you are strengthening the knowledge base of your children and family members , and they , when they stand individually in any group of their friends and circle ,wil know better about the culture of India, and Hindu religion , more than their friends, who just know this much, that Holi is the festival of colours and throwing water baloons on each other . So please go ahead and read the article . It will just take 5 -10 minutes of your time, but you will have the satisfaction of having done your duty on this auspicious occasion. Thanks Thanks to Neelamji Gupta, the most active member of our Group, who out of her busy schedule has provided us this article, so that we can learn, so that we can teach our family members, so that we can strengthen our knowledge base. I salute this selfless worker. regards, Bhaskar.
