Today 27/2/09 during the T20 cricket match played

between India and Newzealand, When India was not doing well

in the match, a group of spectators (Newzealandors) were holding

a poster " Slum Dog Cricketeers " . I felt insulted and as India

was not doing well too, it was like applying salt to the wounds,

I switched off the T.V. set. I agree with Aadeshji.

Dear Lata ji,

Yes , I too agree. Such film makers and the Indians who support them,

should be given a beating and thrown in The Indian ocean. They are akin

to a person who shows the skins seen behind his mothers torn clothes, to

gain few dollars from foreigners visiting.

Or like MF Hussain who paints nude photos of Indian women and Goddesses

to gain wordl wide acclaim.

The Film industry too is without much shame, but holding servile

attitude to everything Phoren, including the Oscars. Their mouth starts

watering and they go ga ga over their names having been nominated here,

as if we oursleves dont have sense to judge what is good or bad, and the

fair sking must decide this for us.

Siddharthaji,

May be it might be " Slum Slog " since the camera was moving

very fast through the spectators, I might not have read correctly.

But still if it said " Slum Slog Cricketeers " on the poster it

was pointing towards the meaning which originated from.....

" Slum Dog " ....... Which did hurt me.

group of Muslims are attacked and killed in the street - together with

general chaos and beatings, there are some stronger and more explicit
