I was just wondering if anyone would like to comment on todays date, 08.08.08 according to jyotish perspective. It would be interesting to hear about auspicious things to do or remedies. I am sorry for replying you late, but am just occupied with many matters . The delay was unintentional and I was helpless.I had written this writeup as a reply to another lady on another forum on the 8th afternoon, for this same query. I am copy pasting below- // Today is going to be a good day for all matters connected to Venus, not just because is a Friday, but because the no.888 represents Venus, due to the compound no. appearing as 24 , ruled by Venus. For Germany it would be a good today as its ruled by the sign Aries and Lorded by Mars. Mars and Venus combine together to form a good love affair. The number 8 being a mystic and secretive number and all related to itys affairs is normally behind closed doors there would be many secrets coming out of the closets of the cupboards of Germany and all those nations ruled by thos planets having affinity wih Venus. Thus every nation can be checked for its triplicities. Remember that Air and Water would be neutral, while air and Fire would be friendly and in same way water and earthy would be friendly while Water and Fire would be deadly. etc. These give us clues as what to expect where, for a research oriented mind. Regarding earthquakes , terrorists attacks, landslides, there is nothing new. This has become a everyday affair. I remember last week in Bombay I was sitting on the internet late after midnight and suddenly i felt the earthquake. i got scared and woke up my wife who shouted at me for disturbing her sleep and felt that I was talking nonsense. But next day in the afternoon while reading the midday newspaper alongwith lunch ( I usually read the papers in 3 parts, at morning tea time, afternoonlunch time, and night dinner times so that the time is spent doing two things simultaneously and mouth is also shut for any talking which i do not prefer while eating ). it was written clearly that mild Earthquake felt in mumbai at 1.55am early morning.
