The last one, that is formed in your chart, will give a person spiritual direction. A person with this yoga will go through a lot of troubles in life, it gives suffering, departing from loved and dear ones, but a person will maintain purity in his heart. Naturally this yoga is operative until the age of 43. It gives amrita after a long period of suffer and this amrita origanates from Mrityunjaya and his wife Amriteshvari. So please worship Shiva with Mrityunjaya mantra every day in the morning and in the evening. Gemstones can not fight the Kalamrita for sure. I don`t think that rubby is the right stone for you anyway (if still want to wear them please consult someone versed in gemology). Mental pressure you are feeling and dissatisfaction that makes you want to give up everything is partly because of the placement of your Atma karaka in the 12th bhava, but the real problem is the position of four planets in the 12th from Aruda lagna-planets placed here are things that we are loosing unwillingly. You have Moon here and it bears a curse-this will give mental dissorder and in your case this is expressed by thinking of suicide. Immediately start worshiping Krishna and Devi and let the Hare Rama Krishna mantra become your ever present thought. Your Atma karaka Saturn is strong as it is vargottama and it will surely give you the strenght to accept losses and to reach stoicism until the torment of Sarpa Yoga ends. They are operating at the same time but getting over in a few years also at the same time. KAY breaks naturally at 43. The curse comes from Saturn, Mars and Sun afflicting Venus and Moon. Saturn Moola dasa is running till May 2012, which is when effect of the curse will get diluted. Saturn is the main malefic involved in the curse and since it lords 10H and 11H, career and income have been affected adversely. Honestly I do not understand reason behind anyone recommending Ruby in left hand. For KAY, worship of Ganesha is best. For curse of Venus recitation of 'om jum saha' should help. I am sure Gurus will correct errors if any. I had been to Thirupathi from Chennai by walk for four times and climbing seven hills every week for ten weeks and I dont how many more times. Started reading Lalita sahasranamam and vishnu sahasranamam daily from one week(stopped some time back).It looks as if Iam tied and something is letting me not to move further. Did Naga shanthi and Till Homam at Ramesvaram two times. Did Rahu kethu pooja at Kalahasthi more than four times. I am not suggesting any other gemstone. I was just unable to understand use of Ruby in left hand! Because Sun in your chart is auspicious and strong. Why weaken it? (if wearing in left hand is an attempt to weaken it) Saturn is your AK and dasa can bring up some challenges at times but I think it will be better than what you are going through now at least materially. It is 10L in D1 and Lagna lord in D10. Saturn is also badhakesh but placement in 12H fro badhakesh is considered good. Looking at Narayana dasa, you will be starting Pisces dasa in 2010. As per ND, dasa of sign containing AK is usually good, so taking indications from both I would expect better results than present. Best wishes PS: between the 2 curses (moon and Venus) I have assumed Venus curse in operation and hence recommended remedy for the same. Besides, as you know, life is not meant to be easy, but it makes life more colourful. How is your marriage functioning, being so depended from your heath issues? May I just add one more thing- based on what you said, you seem to have serious bouts of depression- I would strongly recommend that you find a good doctor and/or one ayurvedic, so that your pain becomes at least more bearable. There are so many //medical/ remedies that you can significantly benefit from in your life routine, that would be pity not take advantage of that. I have no doubt this will help you in getting some piece of mind, and give you the strenght 'to weather the storm' with the least amount of pain. You already shown amazing spirit and determination to get better, find the solutions, i am sure you'll able to play this important game successfully. I was advised them by different astrologers and performed them, with no changes. It is only now, as I approach my 45th birthday that things have started to develop as the rest of my chart promises. Its only age that breaks the Kala Sarpa yoga, depending on where it happens, in my chart its 4/10 axis, and I have never been able to stay at a job longer than 2 years or been able to buy a house. I have always been able to move from place to place, and though its been hard, it has actually given me a unique life experience, met really interesting people, and expanded my consciousness in very unusal ways.Interestingly, I wear a ruby, on ring finger of left hand, because my navamsa lagna and D-10 lagna lord is the Sun, and Leo is 5th house in Rasi chart, and it has given me tremendous success now as theatre director and playwright, but only since I started wearing the Ruby from Sept.2006. I am now starting to make a name for myself as an artist. This means saturn doesn't fall in between rahu and ketu. Forget what others say. Consider it logically. Is 28 outside 22 deg? You will get the answer. But you have a curse. The planet moon is in the curse. The remedy would be to worship goddess bhuvaneswari. Please be vegetarian and take your mothers blessings before starting any new work and when you go out for work. You are basically a hard working person and spiritual. Please try not to give any kind of sorrow to elders. It doesn't mean that you have to take other peoples sorrow and suffer for that which at times you are doing. No need to join any ashram as you have a family behind you. Good days ahead. May I ask you why you are wearing ruby? Ruby is the gem stone of sun and on your chart sun is a benefic planet. Gen stones are not any fancy items. There are specific reason and time till which one can wear it and after that it losses it power. Not only that it losses its power but start giving negative power. But, what exactly is Kaal Amrit Yoga and how is this different from Kaal Sarpa Yoga, because whatever I have read about KSY is kind off similiar to the effects that I feel? Are both stressful in their effects and if yes, is it also true that both break only much later in life i.e after the age of 45? Please let me know. Surya and chandra informed maha vishnu about this and vishnu threw his chakra. By that time the amrith had already gone into his body and the asura became immortal. The head part of the asura became rahu and body became ketu. Rahu is with human head and snake tail and ketu is snake head and human body. This is the story.....now applying this in jyotish. Ksy or kay happens when all the planets are hemmed between rahu and ketu. Take your horoscope and see. You have rahu in the lagna and ketu in 7th bhava and rest of the planets are in between. Put your finger on rahu and move clockwise (in zordiac direction) and you will find all the planets are moving towards ketu. This is kaala amrith yoga. When all planets move toward rahu then its known as kaala sarpha yoga. Ketu is the moksha karaka and he leads to moksha and rahu leads to bhoga. In kaala amrith yoga ketu is the leader and the entire life directed by Ketu and ksy its directed by rahu. The best remedy for kay is to find a girl and get married. This is the natural way to break the yoga. If one can't get married then you need to find alternative ways to break the yoga which will also finally leads to marriage and betterment of life.
