Guest guest
ll HARE RAM ll Dear friends, There is the confusion this year whether NAVRATRAS should start on 19th due to Solar Eclipse.Regarding the same i have to inform you that NAVRATRAS will be started on 19th March 2007 Monday. There is no any matter if Solar Eclipse is occured on that day.The first date (Thiti) according to Hindu Panchang is lapsed during the Navratras. So the 2nd Thiti is on 20th March. Therefore it is quite right to start the rituals of this festival on that day after 8.30 AM when the said Eclipse will be over. Our texts like Devi Puran and Nirnaya Sindhu advised to do the same quite clearly even though Amavasya is up to 8.13 AM on that day. So please do not have any hesitation and celebrate Navratra on 19th of March quite frequently. God bless Shashie Shekhar Astro_Remedies/ chanddra kanthd <chanddrakanthd wrote: Dear Sir, Namaskar. How do we celebrate Ugadi on the same day when there is Solar eclipse. I would be grateful if you could advise on this matter. Also, kindly advise if any specific care needs to be taken on this day as Solar eclipse is coming within one month of the lunar eclipse Thanks and Regards Chanddrakanth D Shashi Shekhar Sharma Never miss an email again! Guest guest
According to dharmasindhu and nirnaysindu: " The new year starts from Chaitra pratipada, in that take the one in which prevails during the sunrise. If prevails on both days or not then take first day's " . Guest guest
If you are in India, USA, singapore, or malaysia Ugadi/Chaitri Shukla Pratipada/Navaratra is on 19th March 2007, but if you are in Melbourne, Sydney, or Fiji then Ugadi is on March 20th 2007 as the prathama in these places prevails at sunrise on March 20th. , " Pandit Mahesh Shastri " <seattlepandit wrote: > > According to dharmasindhu and nirnaysindu: > > " The new year starts from Chaitra pratipada, in that take the one in > which prevails during the sunrise.
