In my opinion, Vimshottari dasha gives quite reliable way of timing things and one need not look elsewhere. However, I would like to mention that I have not used Narayana Dasa myself other than reading about it briefly. This is because, I could get most answers using Vimshottari dasa itself. Even I have found the results right with the Vimshottari Dasha system, but we will take this up in short when we do Jaimini after we finish in part with the commonly used system of approach.I do not wish to mix up two systems. What I said is that I didn't find the need to move out of Vishottari and look for something else. It is not just for my chart. I was able to use vishottari for most charts that I have analysed.
