Guest guest
Hi, I wish to confirm I downloaded the vedic software; I changed the ayanamsha to Krishnamoorty KP, verified my settings with the chart examples, entered my birth data, and save the location preference. I am now ready. I am really enjoying this beautiful vedic astrology software. I have at least a dozen of good vedic books to get back to the vedic system. Thank you. Guest guest
Dear Ramadas, You might be having the Jagannath Hora software by Narasimha. Just set the ayanamsa to KP. Guest guest
Dear Cameron, There are some websites on the net which come in handy. Depends on what You need. Or even if You google " YourLocation coordinates " it may come up. But, in my humble opinion, the best alternative might be if you download " Google Earth " . Here is the link: http://earth.google.com/download-earth.html In the upper left corner insert " YourLocation, YourCountry " . In my case I was even able to see the very building where I was born. It gives very precise coordinates. Then go back to JHora and insert coordinates manually. If downloading Google Earth not possible, please let me know which location you are looking for, maybe we figure something out. I hope this helps! Guest guest
Jhora covers the longitude and latitude of various important towns in the respective countries. there is a possibility that many of the towns may not feature, becuse of the voluminous nature and there fore u can choose the nearest big town and use the longititude and latitude otherwise u can refer to the world atlas book and there u will find the longititude and latitudes being covered. good luck, k.gopu ______________________________\ ____ Expecting? Is there a website that can give me this required information? Hi Cameron, I found that you can then enter the longitude and latitude manually which work fine. This is easier if you have another software that is doing the calculations for you and you can copy the results in the vedic astro sofware. Guest guest
Hi all, you dont need to enter the longitude and latitude manually since the software contains a vast number of cities and countries. you just have to chose your country and type few characters of your city name and click on rest of the world. it works for me as far as the books are concerned. i apologize due to excess bandwidth since lots of people having been downloading. it will be available later .
