after having studied rudraksh deeply for more than 1yr now i personally FEEL

there are some very extremely important points which should be

followed/remembered/implemented with wearing of rudraksh,these are listed

below....all of the below mentioned Golden points may NOT be rules(to be

followed with rudraksh) since some of below mentioned points are my personal

suggestions or viewpoints so i leave this for the reader to decide.........

**energise/Pran Prathistha ur rudraksh bead/mala from a brahmin pandit in a shiv

temple on monday morning before 6.30am & then wear ur energised rudrash

bead/mala for first time immediately after its Pran Prathistha puja in temple

**before u wear ur energised rudraksh bead/mala for first time make sure u

follow the vidhi of saying the mantras as laid down in scriptures..

**here after every time u remove or wear ur rudraksh bead/mala say

om-namah-shivah minimum 3times or 11times..mansic jap is ok

**remove rudraksh without fail before going to toilet for shitting,before

engaging in sex/masturbation,before eating non-veg,before drinking alchol

**it is fine to have rudraksh On when urinating,however please remember to wash

ur hands with soap after urinating & before u touch rudraksh bead/mala again

**remove rudraksh without fail before u visit or go near new born kids & /or

before u attend participate in some one's death funeral procession & /or before

visiting the cemetery or cremation ground or shamshan ground & /or before u go

near a dead person's body

**after u come back from attending participating in some one's death funeral

procession & /or visiting the cemetery or cremation ground or shamshan ground

& /or visiting new born baby or a dead person,then 1st most important thing u

should do is take a complete water bath.make sure u wet ur head & forehead &

neck regions thoroughly completely with water,after bath please change ur

clothes(even ur undergarments) & then wear rudraksh again,put those earlier

clothes for soap washing

**2 different mukhi rudraksh beads should not touch each other,one can always

place a big spatik or parad bead between 2 different mukhi's to separate them,if

at all 2 different mukhi beads touch each other in mistake then one can do a

small re-energising puja at home or in shiv temple on monday or thursday before

6.30am or get a small re energising puja done at shiva temple thru panditji

**make sure there is no rahu kaal & yamghat kaal at time of buying a new mukhi

rudraksh bead/mala & the time of doing its Pran Prathistha puja & also at the

time of wearing energised rudraksh bead/mala for the first time,do please refer

to jyotish panchang

**never touch rudraksh with dirty hands

**never touch rudraksh with pointer fingers & left hand fingers

**remove rudraksh before going to sleep

**do not keep displaying ur rudraksh to any one & everyone,it should be hidden

well below ur clothing,rudraksh is not a object of fashion to be displayed to

everyone.

**if at all by mistake u have touched ur rudraksh with dirty hands or toilet

hands then 1st wash ur hands with soap then pour some good amount of ganga jal

on rudraksh & ask forgiveness from lord shiva & then touch rudraksh to lord

shiva photo or shivling & then wear it.it is always good to keep 1 or 2 big

bottles of ganga jal handy at home,i find that ganga jal is available with most

puja shops

**after attending toilet shiting & /or doing sex/masturbation,please wash hands

thoroughly with good soap before u touch rudraksh again

**after act of sex take a complete water shower before u put ur rudraksh back

again

**always be fully consciouse & aware of what u are eating & drinking,make sure u

remove ur rudraksh everytime without fail before eating nonveg & /or drinking

alchol

**sometimes it may happen that a person may eat a food item(labelled as veg)

which may indirectly contain some nonveg item,so one needs to be consciouse &

aware of this as well.for example i have come across birthday cakes which

contain egg

**higher mukhi's like 14 mukhi rudraksh & others needs special care & handling

as it is the most very aupuciouse,it is good to encap it in gold or other

suitable metal which will cover & protect the rudraksh bead from all sides

**navratri,shivaratri,mahashivratri,solar eclispe are auspiciouse times to

dharan rudraksh,there may be some more however i am not aware of it..

**if for some reason u are not able to dharan/wear ur rudraksh then keep it in a

small box at puja place & offer daily namaskar with om-namah-shivah jap 3times

or 11times or 108times

**sometimes mistakes may happen with rudraksh after all we are all humans

however a person should remember not to repeat those same mistakes again

**always buy rudraksh from ur own money & not other people's borrowed or

snatched money,also same applies when u give dakshna to panditiji after rudraksh

Pran Prathistha ,in case if u do borrow money then make sure u return that

amount which u used for purpose of rudraksh,also it is good if one does not

bargain when buying rudraksh bead/mala

**get ur rudraksh bead/mala re energised thru its Pran Prathistha puja at a shiv

temple before 6.30am thru temple panditji once every year at maha shivaratri or

shivratri

**one can also buy a complete readymade rudraksh bead/mala,which is energised by

the merchant/dealer in ur name,when u do buy readymade rudraksh mala please

check if the beads are separated properly thru parad or spatik placed in between

them.buy from genuine rudraksh dealers

**it is suggested that u have strong thread to place rudraksh in,or use multiple

strands of thread to make it strong so that thread does not break off anytime &

rudraksh does not fall to ground

**rudraksh beads or malas should not be exchanged

or interchanged after u dharan/wear it

**read more about rudraksh to increase ur knowledge on it however also make sure

u dont get confused by reading from too many different sources

**it is suggested to clean rudraksh beads with new small brush & ganga jal once

in every 1 or 2 months,this is to keep the rudraksh beads clean and also the

brush that u use for cleaning rudraksh beads should be used only for 1 time use

& then disposed off,everytime use a brand new clean small brush for cleaning

rudraksh bead.after cleaning rudraksh bead offer incense to it

**there are variouse amrit yog & siddhi yog timings displayed in variouse

jyotish magazines & jyotish panchang,if one wishes then one could follow these

timings for rudraksh puja or wear rudrash(for 1st time) during these times,if

one wishes one could always consult a genuine astrologer to discuss these

timings..

**women must remove rudraksh without fail during menstrual times & during

pregnancy.

**when not wearing rudraksh,please keep it in a box or wrapped in a clean puja

cloth,at the puja place near lord shiva photo

**no matter what do not let anyone(other than self) touch ur rudraksh beads/mala

**it is good if a person with a nonveg diet quits eating nonveg & quits drinking

alchol after he/she dharans/wears a rudraksh,however i personally feel that this

may not be possible for everyone,since i have personally seen that for many

people nonveg food is a part of thier healthy diet & drinking is also a part of

lifestyle for many people living in a modern society

**after wearing higher mukhi rudraksh beads one gets a good capability to

meditate,i feel that if a person now eats nonveg food then this might hamper

with his/her meditation

**do not bargain with shiv temple panditji when u have to give his dakshna after

he does ur rudraksh Pran Prathistha puja.one should happily give panditji his

dakshna & also take his blessings..

**I FEEL THAT ONE SHOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER THE AMOUNT OF BENEFIT U GET FROM UR

RUDRAKSH WILL DEPEND ON THE AMOUNT OF RESPECT & CARE U SHOW TOWARDS UR RUDRAKSH

BEAD.........RUDRAKSH IS LORD SHIVA & REMEMBER U CANNOT TAKE LORD SHIVA FOR

GRANTED....................
