Guest guest
Therese quoted Richard Houck: For example, Venus in [tropical] Aries is supposedly > a 'detrimental placement being opposite the sign it rules.' Yet it is hard > to speak badly of this Venus placement because, as a practical matter, > people with this placement usually do very well with Venus-related > matters...because Venus actually has a 75 percent chance of being exalted > in sidereal Pisces. Sari: Tropical astrologer Jeff Green has quite graphical descriptions about Venus in signs in his Pluto vol II book. Green's descriptions are worth considering, because they are based largely on observation and less on tradition (though they have a bit musty inclination to wallow in the darker side of human nature). He writes about Venus in tropical Aries: " ...Cyclically, the Venus in Aries person can be extremely passionate and involved. They seem fully committed through displays of intense, passionate energy of a very creative nature which keep the relationship moving forward. (...) Because these people feel inwardly that they are special, they need to be treated as specialy by other people. Conversely, they can make the person the they are with feel incredibly special, pumping the other person up with intense displays of love and energy. They are instinctively attracted to others who have a strong sense of self, who radiate a strong, passionate nature, who are as deeply self orientated as themselves, and who have a strong sense of purpose in life.(...) Because Aries is a Mars-ruled sign, these people have a strong, passionate, and narcissistic sexual nature that generates an inner vibration that manifests as an animal kind of magnetism. This operates instinctively, not consciously, and the Venus in Aries person is unaware that they appear this way until others tell them. Consequently, others are sexually attracted to them without really knowing why. Physiologically, Venus in Aries people emit very strong pheromones that chemically excite people. Thus, others can be attracted to the Venus in Aries person as sexual objects through which they can act out their own sexual desires and natures... " (Jeff Green: Pluto Volume II. Chapter Six) Now, compare this with the description of Venus in tropical Pisces: " ...A variation fo this dynamic correlates to Venus in Pisces individual who feel so inferior and weak, so without any personal power, so victimized by life itself, that they allow themselves to become vicarious extensions of someone else's reality. (...) Venus is Pisces people can find if very difficult to make such an effort because they have no clear sense of themselves or of their inherent values and resources. Thus, the reverse of necessary efforts occurs - laziness and a lack of any personal effort to define values that are consistent with who they intrinsically are. The old cliché 'go with the flow' becomes the guiding motivation of these types of such people, and they go with the flow of someone else's reality because it can be easy thing to do. (...) In both cases, the Venus is Pisces person feels that they are either being punished for some undefined reason, of that they need to punish themselves for being something less that 'pure'. Punishment implies guilt with the consequent need to atone with that guilt, or to be angry because of the guilt. Some with Venus in Pisces will totally embody the atonement/guilt dynamic leading to the pathology of masochism... " ----------- Which of these two descriptions in your opinion is closer to an exalted Venus? Which of them is Jupiterian in nature? Doesn't the other one carry with itself some of the most distinctive Saturnine echoes? Regards, Sari

(...) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sari, thanks for these quotes. I've deleted some of the sentences so this post isn't too long. In a courtroom you would have to rest your case. No one could argue with you about the Jupiterian and Saturnian influence of Venus in those two signs. I hope you write a book some day on the sidereal signs. I have the mythological theory down, but you have the interesting examples! Therese

Based on this we can understand that the person is vulnerable to accidents becasue of lord 1H is placed in 8H. The significations of the 2H (property) also falls under worries because it is placed in 8H.The native falls under worry regarding siblings because lord of 3H is placed in 8H. The lord of 3H venus is placed in 8H. it is the exalted position of the venus. so can we expect that it is the good signature? Please clarify..
