For Death, Mahadasha swami must be having some relation with the karkatva for Death. Rgarding Marriage, and other events of the life, other planets are also involved. As per the mahadaha swami, we can find the quality of the result. Suppose a person marry in the mahadasha of Venus. Now Venus is having NK for marriage. So Marrital life can be said to be smooth. Now for a perticular instant: Suppose Venus is lord of 4th and 11th house. Which can give result of eleventh, Sixth, seventh, second. Now with the marriage, person must be envolved with some things for Elenenth, Sixth etc. Such Venus in it's sub can give marriage. Now again suppose that Venus is situated in 2nd house with more points. If married in Ve main , ve sub, then person, must be having more worries. Such marriage will be long term, but the person may not be able to enjoy due to worries. So it can give results linked to these houses. It is also NK for 7th and 12th house matters as it owns 2nd and 7th house in Kalpurush chart. So overall results of Venus to be linked with 2nd, 6th, 7th, 11th and 12th house. Venus now being placed in 2nd house with high points can give more worries regarding 2nd, 6th, 7th, 11th and 12th houses. Now for Cancer lagna, Guru is 6th lord. Such Guru (in its antra) will depart person represents that it aspects in its antra (for cancer and libra lagnas). Now Venus represents 2nd, 6th, 7th, 11th and 12th karaktwa and Venus being placed in 2nd house shows worries regarding the above houses. Now in Gurus antra (6th lord) will further aggravate such worries and will depart person of sukh of such houses. So Venus being placed in 2nd house with high points and during Gurus antra 2nd house represnts longevity of spouse so such a Guru can depart the spouse. Basically Guru will take away or depart 2nd (family member), 7th (wife), 11th (friend) and 12th (bed pleasures) i.e. it may cause seperation or death of spouse. I would tend to go with death rather than seperation of spouse because you have written as special case of Guru acting in case of Cancer or Libra lagnas. If the above thought process is correct then I shall sum up the approach as follows. 1) Find out for which house is Mahadasha LOD or LOE 2) Find out from Kal purush chart which houses the Mahadasha swami owns. 3) So during Mahadasha over all results will be linked to houes given by point 1 and 2. 4) Check in the chart where the Mahadasha swami is placed and results will be flavoured with the same eg. Venus in 2nd house with more points means worries. 5) Check antar dasha swami and what it represents in the chart. 6) Antar dasha swami will trigger events related to houses represented by points 3 and 4. It is situated in 2nd house means 4th from 11th. Or it is situated in the fourth house from it's own house with more points. ( When a planet is situated in the fourth place from it's own house, it will increase the karkatva as a lord of that house. So here Venus is giving strong karkatva of 4th house as B( being lord of 11th house A) 4th house also gives result for death or departing from Father. In Guru Sub ( lord of E for father's death) So in Venus Mahadasha, Jup. Sub May give death of Father. You had asked about Venus with more points in 2nd and lagna in cancer and what could be expected in antra of Guru. The correct answer was Death of Father and I had written death of spouse. So thank your for correcting me. I think I have not understood this phenemon properly. If you can give 2-3 scenarios like you gave as an exercise earlier that would be better so that one can get more clarity on Mahadashas and its importance. It is difficult to give detailed replies to you unless anyone is totally free and has no other work. For me, I will surely do this when I am in above state. In the meanwhile how about some contributions and discussions with your associate members on lighter aspects of astrology where learning can also be done,at same time active participation of others is also sought. I am not getting time to put up basic lessons on astrology. How about You putting up descriptions of planets, Houses of the chart on what they stand for, characteristics, Triplicities, Quadruplicities etc. so that we can move on after that to predictive stuff. But please be careful to make it intresting and not very lengthy, but in parts,ie. in pieces. Best wishes. Taking opinion of 40 Doctors when the case is not serious is not going to help, but on the contrary make the case serious. Keep only 1-2 good Doctors, pay them their Fees and take their services. And Keep faith on them. Now I have to say one thing,that ones life span is reduced by few actions like talking continously, shouting, walking fast, having lot of sensual pleasures etc. One can increase his life span by meditation and Hath Yoga or Kriya Yoga. There is also one way, in which one can reduce his life span. This is by opening his birth chart too many times, showing it to too many people and talking about it too much. You will not find this written in any book, so if You wish to believe then its good for You. You also if wish to require proof then check all the Panchang makers and the people working for them, how they are faring. Among them those who delve in the stars and try to probe deeper in the secrets, working late till night, they are reduced to abject poverty and one by one their family members leave them till they are left alone to be miserable. I did not wish to say all this, but have to, to prevent your life span from becoming less.I am speaking like a elder brother to You, and affectionately, plus from the heart with no offense meant, but full respect to You, so please do not mind my advice.
