Guest guest
Dear Gurujans I would appreciate if you could clarify my doubt on the following: When we determine the aspects of planets in a direct motion we count the houses in a clockwise direction (except for rahu and ketu who moves in retrograde motion always). Correct me if I am wrong. If we have a planet which is retrograde in the birth chart, do we still calculate the Aspects for that planet in a clockwise direction? or we have to consider the direction of the planet's motion. Please pardon me, if this is a silly question. Regards Sridhar
Guest guest
Dear SriDhar, For all planets whether in direct Motion or in retrograde, whenever we check the aspects, we count the houses in an anti- clockwise direction. No question can be silly in astrology. So please always feel free to question. You keep our machines (Minds) lubricated, when You do this and its a good excersise. regards, Bhaskar. , " ashwin_062k " <ashwin_062k wrote: > > Dear Gurujans > > I would appreciate if you could clarify my doubt on the following: > > When we determine the aspects of planets in a direct motion we count > the houses in a clockwise direction (except for rahu and ketu who > moves in retrograde motion always). Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar Ji A small clarification on the subject again. You said we have to count in anti-clock direction for aspects. I presume this is true for North Indian style chart. For South Indian style - it is clockwise. Correct me if I am wrong. Guest guest
Shri Sridharji, Absolutely right Sir. For South Indian we would count clockwise. Good observation made by You. That is why I said we need all types of queries, because then so many aspects which have been hitherto missed, can be remembered again to make any answer complete. regards, Bhaskar. , " ashwin_062k " <ashwin_062k wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar Ji > > A small clarification on the subject again. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar Ji I don't deserve your appreciation. This I observed from response to my same query that I posted in other forum. So credit goes to those who came up with such observation. I hope you don't mind if I post such general queries on multiple forums. My intention is to get maximum number of responses with different dimensions to the issues, if any. Guest guest
Dear Sridharji, Theres no need to mind friend ,on the contrary its to be appreciated that one looks for various approaches to a technical query. I am always for it. Please remember,we should certainly post these to the Forums where we know would receive reply and also same with any good posting if one feels is helpful, then that too should go to all Forums where all can read and savour.I once went to attend a Forum 10 years back known as Landmark Forum. Its a 3-5 day lecture where they talk and talk and you listen and participate. Only the moneyed people from a good strata form the audience of 250-300 people there. One well wisher booked a seat for me there. I learnt one thing there that if one participates at the cost of looking funny or being laughed/mocked at, still at least he is helping so many around, due to his participation. And the others who keep quiet and enjoy the show ,come mute and leave mute without contributing anything. If they want to remain smart and just be a part without getting up and speaking then one cannot force them, but then the quality of their existence is a question mark. So Your technical queries are always welcome. Best Wishes, Bhaskar. regards, Bhaskar. , " ashwin_062k " <ashwin_062k wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar Ji > > I don't deserve your appreciation. Guest guest
||Jai Ramakrishna|| Dear Learned Members, The direction of the planet changes (direct/retrograde)...not the aspect(drishti).. & presuming this, i personally consider Rahu's aspect to be like any other direct planet...
