Sun,Mars and Jupiter are considered as Masculine Planets.

Moon,Venus and Rahu as Feminine.

Mercury,Saturn and Ketu are taken as Hemaphrodites (neutral).

The above information is used mainly to determine the gender

of children and siblings. It is also useful for determing

the type of qualities a person may have.

For ex, if masculine Planets exclusively influence the factors

symbolising the wife in a mans horoscope, his wife may well have

many masculine qualities. Similarly if the neutral Planets are very

prominent in a horoscope, the person may be slow to mature sexually.

How to determine - a smart astrolger has to check all the

planets,whether,Exalted,Debilitated,Own signs,Detriment,

Retrograde,Most prominent,Most elevated,Ruler of the chart,

and then surmise using his experience in analysing, with the

rules from the texts which should be second nature to him,

and then mouth his observations to any native who is unknown

to him. In the meanwhile if any one has time and inclinations

he can check above factors in the charts known to him and

his circle of contacts to gain confidence. But they do have great

value and weight in assessing.
