Guest guest
Friends, Starting series of Educative Notes today. It will not be in a chronological order of sgnificance as we have generally seen in Books,Classes, Jyotish Schools. Will be taking up any topic from any chapter, in pieces, from time to time, and You can put it together like a jigsaw puzzle as and when individually required. Reason for this is not to make it sound like a Documentary. but interesting and let the suspense remain whats coming next, even I would not know at this point of time.It is understood that all know the names of Planets, and how many of them are there etc. AGES OF PLANETS- There are three types of age ,maturation, personification and duration. The maturation age for the planets are. The Sun-22, The Moon- 24, Mars-28,Mercury-32, Jupiter-16,Venus-25, Saturn -36, Rahu and Ketu (The Nodes)-48 Personified individual age - Sun is a mature person of 50, Moon is an old person of 70, Mars is a child below school age (Young), Mercury is a youth. Venus is a teenager of 16. Jupiter is a young adult of 30, Saturn ,Rahu,Ketu represent old person of 100. Age durations ruled by Planets are- The Sun -23 to 41 The Moon - 0-4 Mars- 42 to 56 Mercury - 5 to 14 Jupiter -57 to 68 Venus 15-22 Saturn,Rahu and Ketu -69 to 108 (How to apply above info. for Maturation) Example-Those with Saturn strong in Ascendant, would find their lives mature in some ways by age of 36. The matters in which maturity would be there would be connected by Saturn in the horoscope. Means if mother in his chart is represented by Saturn then the natives relationship with his/her mother would mature by age 36. And suppose Jupiter is similiarly placed then matters represented by Jupiter would mature by age 16. Whether the results would be positive or negative ,would depend on the position of planet, whether well placed or afflicted. (How to apply above info for Personification) Should not be applied literally. Saturn would represent old people and not people of age 100. Jupiter- anyone in prime of life, Sun- a mature person of middle age, etc. This info is used both in natal and horary astrology. For ex, if Venus indicates friend and connected to 11th house, would mean this native would love to have all teenagers as friends. Or Saturn connected to 7th then before marriage, one may expect a wife/husband with same/older age and very mature, lean etc. (How to apply above info. for Duration) This is used as general yardstick to evaluate the times in ones life, when a certain planet would give the results it represents and has power to give. For example if The Sun favourably indicates Marriage or partnership sectors in ones horoscope, then from age 23-41 these matters would operate smoothly. Another example, if Mars is placed unfavourably and denotes health in the individual horoscope, then age 42-56 would bring about bad health and illness. Dear friends, You may elaborate on above. All what I am presenting to you is not my creation/discovery but given by Masters ,only rewritten by me maybe language changed somewhat , thats all. The sources I shall not be able to give as I have collected many references in my journey since last 20 years in this field and may not be able to do so. Its either take it or leave it. I may not be able to participate in discussions on above as time and energy levels would not permit me to do so. Hope the above information helps you, regards, Bhaskar. Guest guest
Dear Adityaji, I respect your suggestion. I have been purposely using at times English words, because You may not know but we do have many western members here too who are silently watching the proceedings. You and me can understand both the versions ie.English and Hindi, while they cannot understand Hindi words. It is for their benefit that I want to use English. And we are not going away from our Shastras by using Hindi. Its the common form of acceptable and understandable language to all thats why. By June next year when hopefully we would have completed enough working knowledge of Indian astrology,I would be starting Sayana (Western Astrology). Then we too would be havung to understand, terms like Progression,Grand Trine,Square, Paralell,Quicunx etc. so lets keep them happy. They are our Brothers too who are learning and doing this divine science. Only regional and colour of skin differs. Not much. Take care, Bhaskar. , " aditya_ruia " <aditya_ruia wrote: > > Bhaskarji thank you very much for starting lessons on astrology. > A small request to you, please use Indian words for planets, rashis, > nakshatras and other astrological terms as we are studying Indian > Astrology. Guest guest
Dear Gopuji, Nice to have You on this Forum, Its been a long time not conversed with you. After certaing stages of vedic astrology I would be coming to Constellation astrology, where of course I have to use Hindi version of names of nakshatras for even us to understand.I personally would not be comfortable with English names of constellations, therefore I will use English till then which is understandable by all. good that you understand. Thank You for your blessings and good wishes.
