With regard todual lord-ship,my understanding is as follows. 1)If the bhava lord is in one of the sign it lords, that bhava lord ship will dominate.For example-aries is the lagna & its lord mars is inscorpio Than mars will support scorpio. 2)If the bhava lord is having a seventh house graha aspect on either of the sign it lords,than that bhava may dominate.For example Suppose capricon is the Lagna and saturn is sitting in8 th house(leo) then it will support acquaris. 3)If the bhava lord is in an odd sign,the even sign it lords will prevail & vice versa. I may ple.be corrected, if my understanding of the above principle is in-correct. As and when time permits I shall try to reply all mails addreesed to me. i am also in the process of trying to re-locate the basics as well as slightly advanced nuances of astrology and compile them for the members as per their demand to make this Forum educative. Plus I have a desire to bring out small essays on spirituality with essence and meaning rather than boring lectures and preaching. Same with astrology. Am looking for application type of pointers in basic astrology rather than generalised matters which anyone can find anywhere on thousand of sites which is not exactly applicative in nature but just school type text book stuf, which is not my purpose for my family members over here. now coming to your present mail. 1) You have observed right. 2) Saturn sitting here in 8th house will lend credibility to longevity of the native here and will be natural karaka of longevity sitting in own house. Please take your time in answering the queries.We know , how much efforts you are putting in giving a reply with very good examples.Definitely application type of pointers in astrology are not taught,properly & only basic & general principles are taught\avilable in books.When these principles are applied to a chart most of the times, satisfactory results does-not come. Wheras i have seen astrologers who learn astrolgy hereditarily give amazing predictions. When approached, either they are un-willing to teach(or) does not know how to teach these technique?
