Dear Sunderji,

Pranams.

On the wall of the Upanishad Mutt at Kanchipuram, there is a rough sketch of

this yogi. This portrait depicts the Upanishad Brahman wearing only kaupina

(loin cloth) and looks almost similar to the portrait of Sadasiva Brahman.

The vyavahira nama was Shri Madhava Yogi (as told to me by my gurunatha). BTW,

Sivaramakrishna was the vyavaharika nama of Shri Sadasiva brahmendra.

Shri Sitarama Sastry a renowned scholar of Tarka who studied at

Upanishad Brahmendra Mutt was a friend of my gurunatha was also

of the same opinion. Moreover, this mutt was the oldest mutt in

the Kanchipuram and moreover this mutt sports with the divine

idols of Shri Hayagriva and Agastya.

This mutt sports with a marvellous Rama Yantra drawn by Sage Narada Muni. It is

said that in this sacred spot, Sage Hayagriva initiated Sage Agastya into

Srividya and and Lalitha Divya Sahasramavali.

The 4th generation disciple of Shri Upanishad Brahman was initiated into Mantra

Upasana by Shri Vashishta Ganapati Muni when that disciple was miraculously

guided in a dream by Shri Upanishad Brahman to take initiation from Ganapati

Muni.
