Hi Raj, two statements:

This is my last word: There is no free will and there is no determination.

(Ramana Maharshi)

We indeed can do what we want, but we can not want what we want.

(Arthur Schopenhauer)

P: May I ask you what is destiny, and how you

found your life depends on it?

As Werner quoted, you can't choose what you want,

or who your parents were. So, what is free will?

That there is no free will doesn't mean that your

whole life is written in stone. The leafs on

a branch have no free will, they dance as the

wind blows, but the wind is not destiny, it has

no purpose and no goal, it blows according to

causes that endlessly recede into an unknown Whole.

it does not matter what anyone says. test it for yourself.

for example i like meat pizza but because of health concerns

i usually order veggie pizza. i can't change the fact that

i like meat but i can order most of the time veggie/cheese

pizza. so you say that i have no choice that i like meat but i can exercise

choice at times and order veggie kind.

to say that there's free will or no free will are over simplifications and i'd

also question the motivation behind the question...to prove what? remember

humans are not usually interested in knowledge for the sake of knowledge. it's

probably to prove that god or a cosmic power is in charge and you're just a

puppet so you can relax and be free from the burden of invidivual existence?
