Guest guest
Many/most people [including Buddha in my opinion] who have gone through Kundalini Experience have gone through Great Body Ache and Pain, other physical discomfort and much other 'Serious Looking' illness that didn't respond to any medication but, went away only after the effort was Completely Surrendered! Once the effort was Fully Surrendered... they felt extremely clam, quit, peaceful, Clear! Some even felt Out Of Body, floating or... simply Bodiless! ....... I think this Too can be understood by understanding the mind-body-mind communication... As we get more and more worried, afraid and tense the Brain start gripping body Very tightly and start communicating with continuous signals in an uncontrolled [Abnormal/Neurotic] way. Its effects are then experienced as an ache, pain or in the form of other ailments. They don't respond to medication because it is NOT really 'Physical'... it Is Mental! Brain is working out of control... because; it thinks it has to because of perceived fear, agony, anxiety or tension. As long as the brain feels the need to make this effort... its continuous uncontrolled signals will continue and so will the resulting 'Ailments'. Now, if someone sees all Efforts being Futile in this case and Truly Gives us [surrenders] the brain starts giving up effort, slowing down, the continuous neurotic signals stop... and, the resulting 'Ailment' too disappears! What appears then is ...Clarity, Clam and Peace! The Pure Consciousness! ....and, many think now I am 'Awakened'. Now, I am 'transformed'! ........ Yes, in this state, you are 'transformed' but, only as long as you stay... Truly Surrendered and Effortless! Once you do the Same thing [fear, worry, stress, tension] Again... the same thing does happen again. The Body comes back... and so does the unease and Confusion! ....... Once having experienced... some back go back to normal living which often corresponds to continued low grade pain and unease that is associated with the " body feeling " . Few others have foolishly assumed that now they have somehow 'become' radically different and have become immune to suffering and mental pain. But, as soon as they picked up old habits and acts again... they have created pain and suffering for themselves as well as for others. ...... Few others have recognized it as something incredibly valuable - freedom, liberation and have also recognized the need to be Vigilant and Alert in order to protect it. Examples will include: Ramana who leaves home, family, social life and whatever else needs leaving in order to ... Abide as Self [a somewhat less fancier way to describe same thing would be ... Absolutely No Worry... no matter what.] ! Buddha who practiced and taught... continuous Aware, Conscious Living! Tolle who calls Stillness his favorite Place and reside in that Stillness as much as Possible! Osho who often said - he is Always Meditating! Guest guest
Kundalini is your mind which is the base of your love and which is called as the serpent going with curves. Generally the mind of the people is curved by nature. Mind is energy and is propagated as waves according to science. These wheels are the family bonds and crossing them in a curved way is cheating those cheating bonds. This justifies that Maya can be crossed by Maya and a thorn can be taken out by another thorn. The first wheel represents earth, which is the bond with mother and is called as Mooladhara. Only from earth living beings like plants etc. (life) are born. The Kundalini sleeps in the Mooladhara wheel. This indicates your sleeping state of mind in the womb of your mother. The awakening of Kundalini means that you are delivered and came into world and you are trapped in bonds as your mind grows. So, there is no need of awakening the Kundalini, which was already in the awakened state. By closing your eyes, you are encouraging Kundalini (mind) to sleep. First you have to cut your bond/love with mother for the sake of God. The second wheel is ‘Manipura’ of water representing the father. The sky having clouds is said to be the father in Veda. When water falls from the sky and unites with earth, life is produced. The bond with the father should also be cut as Prahlada left his father for the sake of God. Now, you may argue that Veda says mother and father are God (Matru devaha, pitru devaha). These words have two meanings as per the grammar. The first meaning is that mother and father are God. This is correct because in the world among all the people, they should be very highly respected and loved. The second meaning for these words is that God is mother and father. This meaning should be taken, when God comes into your life and competes with mother and father. The third wheel is Swadhistana (fire) representing the bond between wife and husband. The union of a couple takes place only due to heat (fire). Buddha left his wife and Meera left her husband for the sake of God. The fourth wheel is Anahata, of air, representing the bond with children. Veda says air is the strongest. This wheel is placed in the heart, which means that this is the heart or the essence of all the bonds. Buddha left his one year old son for the sake of God. The fifth wheel is Visuddha of Akasha (space), which is in the throat, representing the bond with false gurus (preachers). A fraud guru preaches only nonsense, which represents nothing like space. To reach the God who is the Sadguru you must leave all the gurus. Prahlada left such teachers. The final wheel is Aajna, in between the two eyebrows, representing the ‘Jnananetra’ i.e., the sight of knowledge. This is of mind. With the help of knowledge that is Vedas and Sashtras, you must decide the real form of God as Lord Datta and all other forms are only his various dresses. Vedas say that Datta is only the ultimate and real God (Brahman). Veda says that God should be one and that one God creates, rules and destroys the universe. Datta is only one and does these three works through His three divine faces. But, such ultimate God cannot be reached because Vedas say that even words, mind, intelligence, logic and even imagination cannot touch him. But, He comes in the human form and then only you can see, touch, talk and even spend your whole life with Him. Such human form is called DATTA. Datta means the God who is given to devotees, you can meet Him in this world in human form only. Gita says that God comes in human form only (Manusheem……). Gita also says that if one worships formless, he or she gets sorrow only (Avyaktahi…). Gita also says that if you worship a statue, you are born as a stone (Bhutejyah….). A statue has only a limited use of being seen by devotees (Darsanam) and is not meant for worship. A human form only gives full satisfaction to devotees during worship. Yoga means joining the God after cutting all the family bonds through cheating to avoid hurting as explained above. The bonds can be cut only when a new bond with God is formed. Without the new bond, the old bond cannot be cut. First attachment to God (Bhakti) should come and detachment from the relatives (Vyragya) is a natural consequence for which no effort is needed. Once you taste the divine nectar, you will naturally stop drinking coffee. Without tasting the divine nectar it is impossible to leave coffee, because we desire always to drink something. So without Bhakti Vyragya is impossible and meaningless. It is meaningless because a stone having no bond at all is not salvated. Lord Datta who is called Yogi raja (Master of Yoga) can only bring out the real essence of Yoga and He has given the true explanation today to show the real path to ignorant people. There are 2 lines. One is line of science in which human effort gets results. The other line is Supernatural line in which powers are attained by God’s grace only. Even demons did penance and got powers by the grace of God only. Now the middle age scholars mixed these 2 lines and developed 3rd line in between i.e., by human effort, you can get powers. People are fooled like this. By human effort, like controlling breath, you can get health only which is not a power and this is completely first line only. People are attracted like this in the name of Yoga. To get powers, Ravana should have joined Yoga centre. Why he did penance for God Brahma? Yoga means achievement of grace of God by which only powers are attained. at the lotus feet of shri datta swami surya www.universal-spirituality.org adithya_comming <adithya_comming wrote: Many/most people [including Buddha in my opinion] who have gone through Kundalini Experience have gone through Great Body Ache and Pain, other physical discomfort and much other 'Serious Looking' illness that didn't respond to any medication but, went away only after the effort was Completely Surrendered! Guest guest
At the age of sixteen I had this very experience. My entire body went numb from head to foot and an indescribable pain in my chest sent me into a panick. The more I would panick, the worse the ache would get. As I surrendered more and more to the experience, the pain would lessen and the feeling of my body would return. As soon as I thought it was over and I tried to move normally, the shock to my heart would hit me and I would again lose the feeling of my body. I would again panick and experience excrutiating pain until I would once again manage to surrender to it all. Then it would feel like I was in a state of complete bliss, surrounded in a field of pure love energy. It was weird. Very weird. I did'nt understand it and still don't but your description of the 'kundilini' thing really sings to me here. This has never happened to me again. It was an explosive thing that took me by complete surprise and I have never looked at life in the same way after that experience. It changed my whole way of looking at things. I was just a teenage boy back then who knew nothing; now I'm a thirty six year old man and I still don't know much more than I did then, except that I know I know. Guest guest
dear friends Kundalini, chakras, energies etc. are not found in Bible. Jesus did not preach these concepts, hence not Biblical. Even these terms are not there in Gita. Hence Lord Krishna also did not tell them. True preachers like Jesus, Krishna .. preached correctly only but the followers polluted the scriptures because of inability to follow the original preaching. Hence arguments or discussions have no meaning. at the lotus feet of shri datta swami surya www.universal-spirituality.org leafwalker1069 <Silver1069 wrote: At the age of sixteen I had this very experience. Guest guest
dear friend You mean to say Lord Jesus, Lord Krishna..... do not know this truth. I can claim any belief. My belief does not necessarily please the Lord. Whatever was preached by Lord is important. That has to be followed. Because finally He is only going to bless us not belief. For getting His blessing, we should follow the path preached by Him. Ex: If water is there in a beaker. I have a very strong belief that it is cold water. I put my finger and found it hot. Here, 'Water is cold' is only my belief and need be true also. What is the truth here is that water is hot, which is opposite to my belief. Truth is important not the belief. Truth is the one preached by Lord. True belief is the right one, which will be in line with the preaching of Lord. Will any father please with his son if his son does not follow any of his words? Likewise Lord comes down to preach the divine knowledge and uplift the people. If we do not listen to him or follow His words, then we cannot claim that we have got devotion (love towards Lord). Lord is father of all the individual souls. at the lotus feet of shri datta swami surya www.universal-spirituality.org Anna Ruiz <nli10u wrote: - Clay Nisargadatta Saturday, October 08, 2005 1:00 AM Re: Kundalini and . . . Guest guest
dear friend my beliefs are working very nice. that is why i am participating in the divine knowledge propagation. Generally when Lord comes in human form like Lord Jesus, He preaches the truth. Some times some concepts will be very difficult to implement in practical life. Ex: Jesus told that unless one leaves his parents, wife, and children and wealth and even one’s own life for His sake, one couldn’t be His dear disciple. How many people can accept this? So the scholars will omit those concepts and such concepts will never come up in spiritual discussions. Sometimes new concepts will be introduced in the scriptures by these scholars, which are convenient for them and easy to follow. Some times wrong interpretations will be given. These are like cutting the foot to the size of shoe. Instead the shoe should be cut to the size of foot. If we cannot follow the preachings let us honestly accept to Lord i cannot follow. Why to be in the illusion that I have followed whatever Jesus told. It is not fooling anybody but it is fooling of ourselves only. Lord Jesus preached the Truth. He is not bothered whether all the people are following or not? His duty is to preach only. A handful of fishermen who followed Jesus without any question, are the real saints in the fisherman dress. If we see such incidents in Bible, then only we will come to know where our devotion stands. Unfortunately these concepts will never be discussed. While learning divine knowledge we can definitely probe the concept without any biasing according to logic. Lord Jesus likes the discussions of divine knowledge. He even told that if two or three devotees associate & discuss the divine knowledge, He will be present there. When Jesus was preaching about the Lord, a lady stood up and shouted “Oh Jesus! Blessed is your mother who has given birth to you” Then Jesus replied “ No. My mother is not the blessed one, Those who participate in this divine mission are really blessed” One day the mother of Jesus came to meet him and somebody told Him That his mother is waiting outside for Him, but he did not care to meet her. He also told one disciple not to attend the burial function of his father. He told “Let the dead bury the dead, you follow Me in My mission”. From these we can understand the importance given by Lord Jesus for the discussion and propagation of divine knowledge. Let the attack be on concept. at the lotus feet of shri datta swami surya www.universal-spirituality.org Clay <clay.spencer wrote: nope, you didn't understand what I said if you thought that. of course, you didn't think that, you just want to pretend that I did as you basis for your preaching below. Guest guest
dear friend I agree with you regarding your stress on practice. The Spiritual Effort should be done practically not in the imagination. If your effort is in the imagination (in the path of meditation), the result also will be like that. Here I would like to quote one incident. Lord Jesus picked up the fishermen and asked them to come along with Him without any second thought. You analyze this practical incident. These fishermen really have crossed these bonds and that is why they could do it practically also. There are four strong bonds, which hinder the spiritual progress. 1) The bond with the wife 2) The bond with the money 3) The bond with the child 4) The bond with ones body and life. Avadhoota can only be the soul who has cut all these four bonds. A Sanyasi could cut the first three bonds but not the fourth bond. A Sanyasi takes food, drinks water, sleeps and leaks the sperm periodically. The Sanyasi avoided the wife but not the desire for the sex. The eating, drinking, sleep and sex are the four biological needs of the body. The Avadhoota lives maintaining his body without these four needs and his body is beyond the rules of the nature. His body is a divine body maintained by the super power (Maya) of the Lord. The state of Avadhoota is complete liberation and such complete salvation is possible only by the complete grace of the Lord. Avadhoota is just an inert house of the Lord. There is no soul in that body. The soul also is a part of the nature and so the soul becomes a part of the inert house of the Lord. The Avadhoota thinks talks or does anything only by the will of the Lord. It is one system and not two in one. Avadhoota is one hundred percent Lord. It is the state of the goal and there is no journey further. He is called as Siddha and not Sadhaka. Even the Sanyasi is a Sadhaka who is still travelling towards that state. However, a stone can be also equated to Avadhoota because it also has complete salvation but the Lord is not dwelling in it. The Salvation must be attained through the devotion of the Lord, which will lead to the state of Avadhoota. If simple salvation is attained without devotion it will lead to the state of a stone. Among the three bonds the strongest bond is the bond with the children. The wife can help in the spiritual effort (Sadhana) and therefore she is called as ‘Saha DharmaCharini’. The sex, which is a biological need, is a matter of attraction of few minutes or at the maximum few hours. This little time is negligible compared to the long lifetime and the energy dedicated to the Lord. But the bond with the children persists in all the times and requires the expenditure of the energy continuously. The Bond with the money also increases due to this bond with children. For the sake of the children people become currupt and try to rob others. In such process they are doing lot of injustice. The strength of this bond is reduced by realization and with this not only the individual salvation in the upper world is achieved, but also the justice in this world can be easily established. This is the reason why the Lord spoke about the detachment of worldly bonds for the establishment of the justice. He says that He is born to establish the Justice, but He does not speak about the rules of the Justice. The Government, Police and even the courts quote the rules of Justice, which cannot establish the Justice. People are trying to misinterpret these rules and win the case. In Gita the Lord attempted for the detachment of these bonds, which are responsible for the injustice. He attacked the problem at the basic level. Therefore, the strength of the bond with the children is proportional to the injustice in the world. This bond also hinders the spiritual elevation. Unless the strongest bond is cut, salvation is impossible. Without the salvation, the single bond with the Lord is impossible. at the lotus feet of shri datta swami surya www.universal-spirituality.org dennis_travis33 <dennis_travis33 wrote: Nisargadatta , prakki surya Namaste, good that " we " have " you " now....to teach us the right teachings..... maybe the one who seek " inside " him/herself.....find all this energies and chakras and..... and even " heaven " .....here and now i remember the words of a realized Master: " one gram of practice is endless more worth than tonnes of theorie " wish you a nice weekend....
