Guest guest
It could be said, we project our humanity on a blank screen and that we call that the Universe. Man on the moon, Mar's canals, archer and virgin in the sky, you name it. We could bleach the universe of conceptual coloring, but we will never see he world through non-human senses. We will never perceive a magnetic field as a pigeon does (maybe Lewis could tell us how that feels, he claimed to be a pigeon,) we'll never sense the electric field of animals as sharks do, or see ultra sound like dolphins. Honestly, I don't thing I want to see like a dolphin does, they see the inner organs of their fellow creatures, that would have ruined my sex life. Joking aside, the universe we see and know, is shaped not only by what see, but also by what we are unable to see. Shape and knowledge are arrived at by exclusion. To know is to exclude, to isolate what we call an object from the whole. Knowledge is always a limitation, a projection of our humanity on the all embracing mystery we refuse to surrender to. Looking " outside " , looking at the world, the brain sees in the penumbra of its own gicantic shadow. Pete

Do you know anything about anyOne else? Do your own surrendering and see how much of the Universe 'Pete " may 'know'. Love, Anna
