I read most of your posts and I think, many of them are quite good. So Please don't take anything that I say here as coming from an ill motive. I say it because I have seen you complain about volume at many lists, many times. it is OK, Pete ! YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ ALL THAT IS WRITTEN ! You Never have to and You can NOT. A Library has millions ob books and it has many that you don't like. It has many that you HATE ...but, others like. You just read what you like. TV has hundreds of channels, many with 24 hours programming. You don't have to watch them All! DON'T FEEL COMPELLED !!! OSHO wrote more than 500 books. There are 108 Upanishads. Vedas are quite THICK. So are many other 'spiritual' and religious texts. NY Times has more than fifty pages but there is NO need to read ALL of it. Read what you like, leave what you don't like or don't have to. ....and, just to give you a contrast. You put Dan as first on the list of those you read. However, I read Dan rarely. It is not meant as a disrespect to dan or to doubt quality of his posts. As you yourself said, you read " all " his posts. I am sure, many others do too. But, some people like vanilla, some chocolate, some strawberry, some orange, some pistachio, some watermelon, some lime ... HAVING MANY CHOICES IS NOT A PROBLEM. I read most of you, most of Gary, Mr. Enlightenment, most of Toombaru, most of Fuzzy, most of Judi, most of Gene, most of Sandeep, most of hemanth and ....many, many others. However, don't think there is any need for me to make sure that I read all that is written on a forum even when I don't have time or mood. Further, when I can't read it all, I do NOT think, there is a need to complain: ----- Why people post more than I can read. or ------ Why people whom I don't like post. or ----- Why people post what I don't like. Well, you gave 'your' 'opinion', ....I gave 'my' 'opinion'. I like Anderes, Gary, Toombaru, Fuzzy and many others and I don't think that they are diluting the list and I also don't think that someone else is making it *** door to heaven *** for everyone. No one can and No one has to ! With warm regards, ac. PS: If you have problem with emails, switch to digest or web-only. When a needle can do, ...Why insist on using a Sword. When you can easily cover your feet with `leather' (shoe), why insist on covering the whole town with leather, ....so that your feet don't get dirty !
