Guest guest
In the mind an image of you appear together with images of other people having their eyes on you. That's the egoic view. People are looking at their own egoic views, and have an internal relationship with themselves. That creates 100% pure paranoia. /AL
Guest guest
Opps, Seems there are several people within you which are related to or with each other. You are a pretty crowded place, Anders. Tell me which of those persons within you were writing this post and what have those other persons meanwhile done, sucking their thumbs ? No wonder there was paranoia arising, these poor guys within you are fearing their thumbs getting shorter and shorter Or is what you meant as " being in relationsip with oneself " just thought commenting previous thoughts ? And why is that causing 100% paranoia ? Can you explain that ? When thinking is the prominent way we relate to the world through, then what we relate to is an inner world of memories, ideas and images of oneself and of other persons. When we think " my father " , " my child " , " my spouse " , " my neighbour " , " my friend " , " my working buddy " e t c, then all these relationships are images that the thinking mind relates to. It's an inner world of " me " vs " them " . On the surface this split between " me " and " them " in the inner thought world looks normal and is the usual way the human mind operates. But if we look deeper into what is happening we see that both the " me " and the images of " them " are limited and fixed. The inner thought world is rigid and therefore always vulnerable to any change that does not fit into the preconceived inner thought world. Thus, all relationships based on that rigid structure will always clash against a moving world and not least clash against _other_ people's inner rigid thought world about their " me " vs " them " . From the view of the thinking mind, all forms of relating to other people will be from a shaky foundation that easily can become disturbed. The protection of this inner thought world leads to paranoia. A mild form of paranoia, but a severe condition nevertheless. Living primarily through this inner thought world - which most people do - is to have a relationship with oneself; a relationship between " me " and " my mother " for example, where both the " me " and " my mother " are nothing but internal images - a relationship between images which only reside in one's own thoughts. These internal images themselves are not that which causes paranoia. It is the rigid structure of these images that causes paranoia. 100% paranoia. /AL > > > Nisargadatta , " anders_lindman " > <anders_lindman> wrote: > > > > In the mind an image of you appear together with images of other > > people having their eyes on you.
