Some people

This illusion,

It resents anything

It is not kindness

to feed complements

Sure Pete,

Your ?an,

Bill

PSST: This is a " aside " so listen

but pretend not to hear: I was noticing

with Gene's rendition of your poem how

the ?'s didn't obscure the meaning but

required the reader to " participate "

enough to *fill in the gap*. Hmmmmm,

thought I, an interesting device.

That's just between you and me, Pete.

Know what I mean?
