Dan,

Even a mere grunt communicates structure and rhythm, and therefore

assumes.

What we are trying to do is out-clever each other by UNifying* every

word. Is this Nisargatta Machismo?

ughg; and peace,

Hi Larry,

You are so right!

No, it isn't machismo. It's avaita chase your own

tail.

There is only one problem with that: our tail is

faster, smarter than our head. :)

Hi Larry --

There is no assumption if one doesn't assume something.

Nice pun.

I'm not trying to do that.

I just like conversations related

to insight.

There is nothing for these words to do, accomplish,

or make happen.

Funny!

There's another problem --

so many damned tails,

so little time!

Already in your comment there are yours,

whomever you are addressing in your

Yes I am, a fundamental and groundless assumption.

With a whole lot more assumptions piled on top.

Yes.

one holds is held.

It's not bait, Bill.

Just an arising question, that

isn't answered, and dissolves ...

It can't hold, It's only held in that without holding it I don't get up and out

the

door in the morning (yawn).

Interesting comment.

A variation I prefer:

" Things take care of themselves. "

Nice to get the " I " out of there.

The body-mind unit known as " andrew " , which refers to itself as " I " as subject

or " me "

as object, takes care of its daily business. In order for this process to occur,

an

assumption of identity takes place in this bmu; even though the knowledge of the

assumption's groundlessness may be present; in a sort of willing suspension of

reason.

That's what I'm saying.

As Jesus said to John:

I am the ways, the means, and the

entire committee -- nah, too

pompous sounding ...

Hmmm, John ... how 'bout:

I am the way, the truth, and the things

taking care of themselves.

Nope, doesn't quite get it.

Any suggestions?
