Women's Islamic Games/Iran and prayers for Peace!

I just noticed on the BBC World TV News, amongst all the images of

broken bodies of women and children coming out of the bombing of

Kabul. (BBC is somewhat biased but it does deliver a fairly objective

story.)

 

That Iran is hosting the Women's Muslim Games, Irak has been invited

for the first time due to the rapprochement between Iran and Irak due

to the Afghanistan War. Britain was the only non-Muslim country

represented due to its significant Muslim population.

 

The Women marched for Peace and defeated the demons of war in the

opening ceremonies. The Afghan women marched, showing their faces

even. Every Muslim State in the World was represented, plus the UK,

all 1.3 billion of them!

 

It is an interesting statement that the women of Islam are united for

peace and against war, perhaps they can influence the men of
