Guest guest
Hi Tony! Namaste All, My take is that hurt feelings are due to erroneous localisation of illusory consciousness or ego. True enough. And further, the illusion is that there is separate volitional consciousness which can localize or de-localize ... Its real whilst one is in it, said Sankara. They are just energy movements, upon which we give a name and attribute. Well-said. Unnamed and unattended by a separative consciousness, there aren't even " energy movements " ... Maharaj doesn't go on much about anything but Praneaswara, or Saguna Brahman. Indicating that we are just whirlpools in that great illusion. I haven't got that impression of his teaching at all. That what it is impossible to say, isn't said, is not a surprise ;-) Again volition is just karma being acted out anyway, with no moving from us. We are imagining we are doing what was going to be done, or rather has been is being done already. We get illusory karma from the delusion of action in a non existant energy universe. There is no " we " to really get karma -- the " we " appears with the impression of being involved in karma, or an ongoing stream of history that has cause and effect. No impression, no " we " , nothing to collect karma. All that is generally considered " present " is actually past. What is unfolding is what has already occurred. What has already occurred, isn't. This isn't known until the " real present " is known... Love, Dan
