Guest guest
Sat nam, and Greetings to All, I AM also on the Path To Enlightenment, a devout spiritual aspirant, in Direct Communion with God; practice meditation twice daily along with my regular practice of Kundalini yoga. I AM preparing to begin teaching KY, as taught by Yogi Bhajan,( who crossed over last October);on, Monday, March, 14th. I have been a spiritual-seeker for over 25 years, but only practiced KY since April, 2004, when I, by " accident', found a marvelous book about KY in a bookstore. My SOUL at Last, found It's home! I have been on an AMAZING JOURNEY ever since, and I AM most Happy to share The Light within myself to others! I currently live within Shakti(LOVE) and Bhakti (DEVOTION), immersing INto THE Field of Superconsciousness, and waiting, while still carrying on my worldly duties to a husband and five year-old twin sons! We live most happily in Athens, Greece. I AM American, my husband, German, my sons born in Germany. Nice to BE aboard! In Love, Light and Blessings, Nirmal Kaur

Guest guest
Greetings, Dear lady, I do not know who raised you, but you have NO manners, and if you think you are on the path to enlightenment with your mis-information and error in thinking, you HAVE NO control over YOUR enlightenment, and Will surely wait several lifetimes!!! I did not come here to argue. If this is a sample of " enlightened " beings, I chose the wrong group! However, I AM NOT leaving, if that's what you think! Please, somebody else, that HAS a Little Heart and Soul, take a stand! Do you not Realize there are MANY paths to God? Kundalini yoga is but one, obviously no one is familar with. By practice and regulation of the nervous system via Krias, Pranayama, Mantra, we Self-Actualize AND BECOME ONE With GOD, as taught by Yogi Bhajan. There are many more. Have you not heard of them? Or is this way THE only way for you? How sad. And un-fortunate. One of the greatest Gifts of Humanity is Compassion, and I feel it for you, dear sister. May the Light of God Bring you out of Darkness To a place where you feel No Fear or hatred. We are Here TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER! TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER! THAT is, I believe, where the Heart needs TO BE before ANYTHING can happen!!! Guest guest
Like I said, you have a personal emotional problem that needs looking into. And you're avoiding it, by parading it around as though it's something " spiritual " . Self-realization 101. Guest guest
You want out You want escape You want relief. You meditate To block out life You chant To pu the world on hold. You pray To get what you want. You take drugs To get there faster. Ram Tzu knows this... Your noble search for God Is but a sly dodge. * You like the idea of Being on a journey. You like the idea That you're going somewhere. You think If you're going somewhere You might get somewhere. You're seduced by The prospect of progress. It's a measure of your discontent. Ram Tzu knows this... You can't get here From there. *
Guest guest
What people consider as " spiritual " is really a " personal " , emotional problem. That's all it is. And at the heart of that emotional problem, is " separation " , paraded around as " self-identity " . So, you see, for as long as you can remember, your whole life, this problem, this " thorn " of " identity " has been with you. " You " are your own very problem that you seek to somehow overcome. And it can't be done! You can never " overcome " it, it can only be exposed, seen for what it is, who " you " are. Surrender, " expose " your self and thereby you will come to under- stand your self. Leave any notion of " God " or " Beyond " or " Enlightenment " or " spiritual " crap of any sort out of it. It's all about " you " . Understanding you. Judi I agree, Judi. So, " spirituality " often is a dodge. Unless it involves a balanced, rational awareness that understands the value of nonavoidance, spirituality can be an attempt to use emotionalism, idealization, and repetition of mantra-like ideas as a means to try to stabilize an unstable self. And that attempt usually fails, and so denial is required as part of the " spiritual being. " It gives the word " spirituality " a negative connotation. -- Dan
Guest guest
There's no way out of looking at oneself. Not as an object, but in terms of activity. Particularly, it is essential to be clear on the activity based on a divide between me and not-me. Without inquriy here, now, where this takes place, nothing else can substitute for inquiry (humor, practices, rituals, prayers, repeating teachings, hanging out with teachers, self-affirmations). There is pain and disturbance here, where this activity is occuring, due to clinging and avoidance. This is not a psychological investigation, it is inquiry into the clinging to the psychological position itself, and avoidance of being aware of the activity. It's not away to maintain a happy spiritual persona, because the activity of spiritual adventuring is understood as another version of self-separation, an activity that tends to reinforce itself. Saying " there's no one to do any such activity " is a sidestep, because the activity *is* the sense of someone existing separately. -- Dan ********** Yes, thanks for this, it's all but the game of avoidance. Avoidance of directly looking into who one is, before any great, or otherwise, " adventure " . Judi

I'd agree with ya on the point that if someone has a problem, they shouldn't seek enlightenment or whatever as an escape. I disagree with the way you present yourself though. Jesus said that, but lived compassion. People have real problems and don't know they have a choice. You can try to make yourself feel better by looking down on them, but it's much more rewarding to sympathize with them. ;> I don't know about this freak of nature thing, but I have been successful with leading people to a state of self-realization. I use a method of discrimination/contemplation. I didn't learn it was a documented yogic way until much later.-LOL Rather simple though, Body. Are you your body? What about a soul? Do you believe in a soul? Are you a body with a soul or a soul with a body? Which one dies? That in itself is a shift in awareness for most here in Indiana. I can lead ya there with words, but if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. Jeremy.
