How do you account for this genetic 'pull' if all this is an illusion? [specially as my present family is a mixture of brown, black and white ... with roots in 3 continents!] San: You are talking maybe of 3 or 4 generations. The Human Genome Project showed some interesting findings. "Scientists have discovered that human genes have been derived from bacteria, that some genes haven't changed much since the very first single celled creatures populated the primeval ooze. Genes are found today, which developed when our ancestors were worm-like, others when our ancestors were fish-like." The template of the primordial amoeba, apparently lives on in us". So next time, Jan you feel a tug in your heart when you see a slug struggling in mud, you know where it comes from.<s> On the illusion part. Comprehending that all is illusion is not complete, not total, till the apperception, that the "comprehender" is itself part of the same illusion. So it is not that, if all is illusion, how come I weep for the dead in Bhuj or in New York. The weeping, if it is occuring, is also part of that same dream.
