True.. Here is the VijayadAsara Suladi regarding each jiva sAdhane starting from Garudadigalu.

The sAdhane period below consists of number of Brahma kalpa years before aparoxa + number of Brahma kalpa years after aparoksha.

Again, Brahma kalpa period has been discussed previously in this forum but just to recap:

kali yuga has 432,000 years dwApara has 2 X 432,000 = 864,000 years trEyta yuga has 3 X 432,000 = 1,296,000 years kruta yuga has 4 X 432,000 = 1,728,000 years Total number of years for one Chaturyuga is 4,320,000 years. 12,000 years of devathas- 1 mahayuga 4 chaturyuga = 1 mahayuga 71 Mahayuga = 1 Manvantara 14 Manvantara = 1 Kalpa 1 Kalpa is Brahma's half a day. Brahma's half day with human years of 4,320,000,000. one full day for Brahma is 8,640,000,000 years; such 30 days a month; 12 months in a year for 100 Brahma years Brahma's life consists of 36,000 days and nights The life span for a whole universe, according to the ancient seers, is 311,040,000,000,000 solar years, or "One Age of Brahma."Lord Vishnu's 10.5 hours is Brahma's 87.5 years.

>>Linga deha banga happens only to those who completed their sadhana. For>>those jivas who need to continue their sadhana, it may not happen.

Linga deha bhanga will happen during Mahapralaya only to those who completed their full sAdhana. For those jivas who need to continue their sAdhana, it will happen at the end of their sAdhane period.

>>Again I am not sure about the following statement " MahaPralaya occurs>>after jeevas getting rid of Karmas."

>>Maha pralaya occurs at its time. It need not wait for jeevas getting rid>>of Karmas. Lord Shri Hari makes that jivas complete their sadhana within>>the prescribed time.

Mahapralaya occurs during Brahma devaru laya period between 87 1/2 to 100 Brahma years. Mahapralaya is for 100 Brahma years. Again just to recap from above statement, Lord Vishnu's 10.5 hours is Brahma's 87.5 years

bommana nooru varsha praLayadali tannarasiyoDagUDi summaneyAgi malagippa namma nArAyaNagu I rammegaDigaDigu janmaveMbudu avatAra (Lakshmi shobhane)

In other words, laya period (Mahapralaya starts) of today's Bramha starts at 87 1/2 years to 100 years during this Brahmanda. Then another 87 1/2 years of Brahma is mahapralaya period which is the night for Parabrahma. Which means, no life will be there & all souls will be inside Sri Hari's belly for 100 Brahma years.

In the stomach of Sri Hari, there are three different layers where all souls will stay. In the first top layer, all realized souls will reside, all nithyasamsaris will reside in the second layer & all demons will reside in the third layer.

Here in this book, "The process of creation in dAsa sAhithya" , TTD publication by shrI V. Badarayana Murthy

It is explained in Vishnu Rahasya:

1. nAbheradho vAma bhAge prApta tamasikan which means below the navel, left side the liberated demoniac souls who were in Eternal Hell.

2. nAbheradho dakshina bhaage yogyAM which means below the navel, right side, the demoniac souls still in the course of realization

3. samapradesa nitya samsaarinah which mean is right beneath the navel - the middling class of souls

4. nAbherupari dakshina bhAge muktAn which means above the navel, right side, the released devotee souls.

5. nAbherupari vAma bhAge mukti yogyan which means above the navel, left side the devotee souls in the course of realization.

The process of destruction is as follows: Earth (prithvi) merges into water (ap) , water into fire (tejas), fire into air (vAyu) & air into the sky (AkAsha). The five gross elements in air get back into their subtle counter parts (tanmatras).

THE PERIOD OF YOGA NIDRA FOR PARABRAHMAN: 100 BRAHMA YEARS

There are some who say that the work of "Mahapralaya" started in the evening of the last day completiong Brahma's 87 1/2 years & that Parabrahma rested for 10 1/2 hours during the night that followed to complete 87 1/2 years; He woke up when actually Brahma's 1 1/2 hours remained before the next dawn.

Parabrahma's night equals the period of Brahma's life time. Sri Hari rested for 10 1/2 hours i.e. 87 1/2 years (Brahma years) of that night along with Lakshmidevi. When still (1 1/2 hours) 12 1/2 years remained before dawn, Sri Durgadevi bearing the name "Ambhrani" being prompted by her Lord, praised Him with the "Sruti Gita". Well pleased with it, Sri Hari woke up as it were & opened His eyes. Thus it is declared.

[Dhyana_Sandhya] Moksha - Time and Space

Hare Srinivasa, namaskAraThanks for the interesting topic of Moksha Sadhana - time and space.Just to add few words. Is Sadhana period is not fixed as "One full brahma Kalpa" for alljivas??.Is it not depending on the kaxa of the jivas ??.I think for Manushya jivi it is one full Brahma kalpa. For others itvaries.Linga deha banga happens only to those who completed their sadhana. Forthose jivas who need to continue their sadhana, it may not happen.Again I am not sure about the following statement " MahaPralaya occursafter jeevas getting rid of Karmas." Maha pralaya occurs at its time. It need not wait for jeevas getting ridof Karmas. Lord Shri Hari makes that jivas complete their sadhana withinthe prescribed time.I request scholars to add more to this.namaskAraB.Gopalakrishna Varna8. Namaskara,

You mention the five different portions where each

class of souls reside, 2 for Mukti Yogyatas, 2 for

non-mukti yogyathas and 1 for Nityasamsarins.

Shouldn't there be 2 for Nityasamsarins as well - one

for who in the process of realising, and one who

already realised? Just curious.

BTW, there is another wonderful book by the same

author Badarayana Murthy titled " Srusti Prakarana " in

kannada, also published by TTD which has all these

wonderful details. (including exact dimensions of

Vaikunta Loka, etc..).

Regards

Rao
